The list of footballers has been deleted, I've nominated the very similar list for hockey players for Afd as well, and I don't know if chess players have ever been called sportspeople. Clarityfiend (talk) 19:29, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

{{Trim leading}} was changed in 2012 to use parser functions, which replaced the use of these 6 sub-templates, and which left them unused and redundant. Possibly T3, but wasn't sure. Gonnym (talk) 14:53, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • CSD:T3 seems a bit of a stretch, so I appreciate you bringing this for a proper deletion discussion. I agree that this should be a pretty non-controversial delete. There was "old version" programing still included in the template code inside comment brackets, but I have removed it - it will always be available under the history. Note: I looked at the template history and realized I programmed all this. I guess these now probably qualify under CSD:G7. VanIsaacWScont 02:12, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Single-use template, which has one single transclusion. In addition, WP:NBA does not create templates for presidents. – Sabbatino (talk) 13:28, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. Overkill. Also, NBA teams often don’t use the term “president” consistently. Rikster2 (talk) 12:04, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Fails WP:NAVBOX #4: There should be a Wikipedia article on the subject of the template. Probably fails WP:NAVBOXCREEP too.—Bagumba (talk) 12:29, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. No opposition, valid rationale provided. Primefac (talk) 01:24, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This template consists simply of the list of historical figures and novels that are mentioned in a single trilogy. It may be disputed whether it would be better to include these boring lists to the article. As the template seems to be aimed for linking this trilogy to a lot of unrelated articles, the template must be deleted. D.Lazard (talk) 13:00, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - the historical figures have no place in the book trilogy about a fictional story, and even more bizarre is listing books of other authors who have nothing to do with this book. Also, the main aspects of the navbox don't even have articles - books #2 and #3 and the trilogy article itself. --Gonnym (talk) 17:04, 29 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
