Power of Omens

The band Power of Omens satisfies several of the WP:MUSIC guidelines. I do not know why it was deleted. A quick Google search will reveal the band's prominent position among quite a number of online music encyclopedias and webzines, too many to catalog here, and is featured in a number of reviews. The google references are pages and pages deep, which is one indication of a band's popularity, influence and success. Power of Omens is notable for being on the original lineup of ProgPower USA, which has its own Wiki article. Meghan Kabir

I don't know what the previous articles said as I didn't create them. Meghan Kabir is a singer/songwriter and lead singer of the band Flashmob, which has recently signed a record deal with Warner Bros. If you're looking for a page to be unprotected, you need to request that at WP:RPP, not here. Just as some friendly advice, before making the request there, I'd suggest starting a draft at a subpage of your userpage, such as at User:Elephantmusic44/Meghan Kabir. That will give you plenty of time to get a quality article together (WP:FEED can help you with that), and show the folks at WP:RPP that you have something worth unprotecting the page for. infant potty training method

There was no discussion about proposed deletion or other warning about possible deletion, so no one had a chance to present counter-arguments about possible deletion. Moreover, the page is mainly about a book and its contents. Just because the book is about a topic discussed on another Wiki page does not mean the book page should have been deleted. There are many book pages on Wikipedia and there is no reason to remove this particular one. Thirdly, if there are objections to the text, the page needs to be reinstated in order to allow people to edit it. Finally, if there is a problem with the title of the page (infant potty training method), I first attempted to give it the actual title of the book which is "Infant Potty Training" but this title kept getting redirected to the "toilet training" page so it was not possible to create a page for the actual book title. If this would satisfy a Wikipedia requirement and if someone can make it possible to direct "infant potty training" to the book page, please advise how this can be done. -Thirdsecond (talk) 15:37, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Team Starkid

It was deleted because it was not notable and the sources were unreliable. Their soundtrack clocked in at No. 11 on the national Billboard charts and this was supported by a report from the official Billboard website asserting that it was the first student musical to ever make the charts and might play at the New York Fringe Festival. Their A Very Potter Musical has generated talk and legal issues, backed up by statements from professors of law. Several of the sources were official interviews with Team Starkid but, being in podcast format, might have been considered unreliable. Other sources could be found to replace these, sources that would be more acceptable.
On a side note, A Very Potter Musical is as big as (if not bigger) than Potter Puppet Pals, which enjoys a spotlight on Neil Cicierega's page. (Yes, I do realize this is a faulty analogy.) And although Neil Cicierega's page is much more official and professional-looking, it has had contributors working on it since 2004.
I created a page for the creative team, because (popular as it is) A Very Potter Musical does not fulfill the Wikipedia criteria for notability, but the creative team is notable. Respectfully, Overduejustice (talk) 19:53, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

we don't know why the article was deleted nor have we been told why? We did not receive an email, or phone call (Nothing!) The Wikipedia article is a true and accurate account of how my company "Hoodywood Records was started and has been posted for years and we would appreciate if it is restored to its original form.(we have an opinion as to why it was removed and it is as follows) we believe our article was removed maliciously because of the efforts of Mrs Marian Franklin of the "Shaka Franklin Foundation" she was very upset with this article because I Antheiaus Conquest when I was being interviewed about my company gave a true and accurate account of my experience with the "Shaka Franklin Foundation" information which she (Marian Franklin) found objectionable. After discovering that this information made it into the Wikipedia article she was quite upset and has made several demands of me to have it removed and or edited or censured and I have refused. Now, (correct us if we are wrong)but if the Hoodywood Records Wikipedia article was removed as a result of this angry woman's and her Shaka Franklin Foundations efforts and objections, this totally violates and contradicts your policy on neutrality... right? If you need any corroborating documents regarding our company and its history please contact or call we are willing to send you what ever you need including the heated email exchange between Marian Franklin and Myself etc.

The old page was informative and described the mod pretty well, I don't see the reason for the deletion. The mod had a lot of players in the past and was most probably an influence for "Left 4 Dead" (the devs were apparently contacted by valve).

I'm an author of product described by Demon. Demon is author of first article on Ancient Empires Elysium. Fryrender

Other articles like Maxwell_Render, Indigo_Renderer, Vray, Mental_ray and Kerkythea would have the same problems of violating wikipedia article rules as the article Fryrender, if there is actually a violation. If the other articles about specific render software products are not deleted as well very soon, the consequence must be that the article Fryrender is recovered! Hello, if the Fryrender article is not undeleted, the other articles I mentioned above need to be checked and most probably deleted as well! Everything else would totally be injustice and a shame on the whole wikipedia imho. Hello, I made the Article which was deleted. In the Comments I wrote, it's "to make a start". My Article was neutral and did nothing else than explain what fryrender is and a list of features. I don't understand how this can be taken as Promotion/Advertising. Nothing else than - for example - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtualdub or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CINEMA_4D.

Unfortunately, according to Wikipedia policy, "blatant examples of advertising masquerading as articles can be speedily deleted", and this is what the article was designated as. Again, you are more than welcome to recreate the article with this in mind. If you believe there are other articles which violate this policy, I encourage you to pursue their deletion as well. Seattle Children's Theatre

I was removing the prod at the same time it was deleted and accidently recreated the page. This org seems to have alot of awards and a quick google search turns up major newspaper coverage. The article, as originally written, failed to demonstrate the site's notability. Please understand that notability and deletion rules aren't a judgement on the worthiness of the topic; they're a judgement on the quality of the article. A properly written and well-referenced article about the site might very well be kept, and the fact that one version of the article got canned doesn't mean the site can never have an article, either — it just means that this version of the article, as written, wasn't cutting it.
We're not obliged to keep or to undelete a poor-quality article just because one of the site's own administrators comes back after the fact to make unreferenced notability claims that were never in the original article in the first place. But you are always free to work on a new and better version of the article, which makes notability more immediately apparent, if you'd like.
Incidentally, the article was originally tagged for prod by User:NawlinWiki, not by me; I just deleted the article after the prod notice expired. Bearcat (talk) 21:47, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

I can't see the unambiguous advertising in the article, but G11 isn't something we unilaterally restore here. Your best bet is to drop a note to the deleting admin, Nick-D (talk · contribs), and ask for clarification and a possible restore. I've responded to this editor on my talk page declining this request on the grounds that the only reason they want to create the article is to promote it (their stated reason for wanting the article was "this page was built with no advertising intention at all, it was simply a page that told people like myself about the hotel and where it is and what it has to offer" - which is pretty much what an ad is). the name of the organization 'videotage' has appeared on the page of 'video art' under the section of 'List of video art organizations'. I intended to add a page of 'videotage' to provide more information about this only video art organization in hong kong, asia. However, the page got deleted, and even being removed from the page 'video art'. While Videotage is a significant organization that runs the archive of hong kong video art over the last 20 years, I could not comprehend why other organizations such as video data bank, V tape from Canada or Perpetual Art Machine from NY are allowed to have a page of its own but not videotage. I concern that this is because wikipedia only acknowledges those organizations that are well known all over the world, but ignore the significance of asian organizations that could be crucial to the development of video art. I hence am hereby requesting the undeletion of the page 'videotage' and also requesting wikipedia to restore videotage's entry on the page 'video art' under the section 'List of video art organizations'. Gonzoe is a recording artist of Blocwize Ent. and a prominent rapper who has appeared in classic west coast hip hop for the last 15 years including songs with tupac shakur and ice cube, and a Gold selling album with his group Kausion. Gonzoe is also referenced in many other wikipedia articles. 9/11 Truth Movement

Seeing as Dr. Judy Wood is the only person to have filed her evidence with the courts in pursuit of truth and justice, and also considering that one of her court cases made it all the way to the Supreme Court, I think it is fairly obvious that the following information needs to be included in the 9/11 Truth Movement Wikipedia Page:

1. I think that Dr. Judy Wood's Journal of 9/11 Research & 9/11 Issues needs to be included in the external links section alongside the other Journals of 9/11 Research.

2. I also think that her name needs to be included in the Adherents of the 9/11 Truth Movement, especially considering she is the only person to actually take legal action, in addition to scientific research, in pursuit of 9/11 truth.

3. I also think that her legal efforts, especially the Supreme Court case, needs to be included in the History of the 9/11 Truth Movement, as it was the only court-case ever filed in pursuit of 9/11 Truth, and it made it all the way to the Supreme Court.

In 2007, Dr. Judy Wood filed several legal cases against the National Institute of Standards & Technology's (NIST) contractors for science fraud, and legal requests that NIST’s fraudulent data gets reexamined[1]. The filings in these legal cases included Requests For Corrections (RFC) based on the Data Quality Act[2], and Qui Tam whistle-blower cases[3]. Dr. Wood is the only 9/11 researcher who has submitted evidence to the courts in pursuit of the truth.

These are obviously supposed to be on this Wikipedia page, so I truly question the motives of those who are deleting this information. Her effort speaks for itself, and this information needs to be included in the 9/11 Truth Movement Wikipedia page for the sake of honesty and accuracy. Please help.
