Ronny Wechselberger

The page happened to be about a racer who in fact broke Michael Schumacher's records in the Formula König Championship. The racer in question was also a multiple Guinness World Record holder of considerable repute. I can understand that the links to official websites were probably not needed, and so suggest that these links be deleted. I have been jumping through the hurdles and returning to edit each time a Wiki editor/admin challenges the notoriety of the subject. I have provided sources and even procured a full magazine from NYU Library flat files. I have uploaded photos as well. This is an ongoing effort to document the life of a State Department employee, Special Forces soldier and Academic who was not only a prisoner of war but was an undercover operative involved in US Govt operations to undermine Che Guevara as well as operations in Florence, Italy. He was a close friend of William F. Buckley Jr. as well as Pedro Juan Labarthe, the Poet Laureate of Puerto Rico featured in Time Magazine. -Willermoz (talk) 18:03, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

  •   Done Willermoz, I've restored this again since you did work on it after the last G13 restore. The thing to keep in mind here is that being active as a state employee, soldier, and academic is not automatically notable in and of itself. This is especially so if part of his work was done undercover, since this means that there might not be much coverage of him if the government isn't willing to cough up the details and Hunter himself was mum on the subject. The biggest problem that I could see as far as the prior declines go is that you don't have much on the article that actually goes into depth about Hunter (apparently some of it didn't even mention him) and was written in an independent and reliable source. You need to be very careful with sourcing, especially with self-published blog sources since these will need to be verifiable in some form or fashion. In this instance you have one of the sources posting a journal article which is OK to a degree, but I also note that Hunter is only briefly mentioned in the article as the president of an organization. Be careful, as holding office in an organization does not automatically grant notability - in most cases it does not and if this is one of the only features that has coverage then odds are that any article on Hunter would redirect to the organization's page unless you could show where he's independently notable. The same thing goes for most political office appointments - generally speaking it's only elected offices on the state level and above that would give notability. Beyond that some appointments do give notability, but they're very few and far between and would have to be top offices on the national level. Few of the other ones can be verified, but offhand I see that one is a routine database entry for one of his books, which won't give notability. Another one (which I can't verify) says that it's a directory - these don't always give notability because many directories of this nature are either written by the person themselves (or someone representing them, meaning they're WP:PRIMARY), the directory itself is part of an organization of which the person is a member, which would also make it primary, or the entry is so brief that it wouldn't be seen as more than a WP:TRIVIAL source. @Douglasdeodato:   Not done. I see two problems with this:
  • It is in Portuguese, and would be better in the Portuguese Wikipedia than here;
  • More seriously, it does not seem to be suitable for Wikipedia at all: it is not an encyclopedia article, more a discussion forum for Brazilians in Ireland. Wikipedia is not a web host for activities not connected with the encyclopedia. Something like this would be better hosted on Wikia, or a social-networking site like Facebook; or you may get some ideas from Wikipedia:Alternative outlets.

  •   Not done @Jamiewazere: There wasn't really anything worth restoring. The first page had content that looked like it was at worst vandalism and at best joke material. The second was just a link to an Instagram account. When writing content on here you have to use a serious tone. Stuff that's written in a tongue-in-cheek fashion is seen as vandalism on here, which is why the first version was deleted. The second one was just a link to an outside page, which isn't seen as substantial content. It looks like you were trying to write about a street artist, so I do have to warn you that artists are not automatically notable on Wikipedia. You have to show where their work has been covered in independent and reliable sources (WP:RS) and/or where their work has been displayed in a major art institution or museum per WP:CREATIVE. This can be fairly difficult to do, honestly, but especially for street artists since they typically don't get the type of recognition that their more "serious" counterparts might get. I am the original uploader mentioned. NCERT Text Book Solutions - Class VII Geography

This article is supposed to contain the NCERT solutions for class VII Geography text book. In the preface, I had given some information about NCERT which was extracted from NCERT page. Fairly likely that it isn't a backwardscopy seeing as http://web.archive.org/web/20050412094900/http://www.prosure.com/Juven/FAQ.asp?ItemID=1 while not identical is very similar to the late website text.   Declined. First of all Wikipedia is not a directory of external links and should not be used for that purpose. Secondly, Wikipedia is not a "how-to" guide and doesn't need to link to solutions to questions. Third, Wikipedia:Notability requires that a stand-alone article be about subjects that have significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Power Rangers Ninja Steel

Not sure if this is entirely the proper venue for such requests as this. I understand this page was deleted multiple times due to it being a creation by a banned user, that noting the notes within the deletion logs, must be the reason this page is protected from re-creation. I attempted to re-create this page, only as a redirect to Power Rangers, because its been confirmed that Power Rangers Ninja Steel exists (or will since it hasn't premiered yet), but doesn't have enough information to justify its own article just yet, but would serve as a useful redirect for the time being if one were to search "Power Rangers Ninja Steel" within their search box. That being said, don't restore any of the revisions, but could an administrator re-create this page to redirect to the main Power Rangers article, and then re-protect the redirect from further editing until a time comes when new information circulates when there'll be enough content to justify its own article? -—Mythdon 08:55, 29 August 2016 (UTC)

Yes, I think recreating it as a redirect would be fine. When you say "protection", are you talking about full protection - to keep the redirect from being expanded until an admin agrees it is time?
