American Idol stuff edit

I'm well-aware this season is the final season of American Idol. But I'm trying to find some merchandise related to the show. When I tried the website with the same title, I learned the domain was blank or something like that. I also tried the FOX online store. But there was none. Where else would be my best bet? Anyone know?2604:2000:7113:9D00:B81E:C008:E611:FADF (talk) 03:59, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I saw some stuff on Amazon.com and I assume there's stuff on eBay. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 04:54, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ray Charles (American jazz pianist) - is he dead?? I could not ind him here !! edit

Is Ray Charles (American jazz pianist) dead? I could not find him here!. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.250.26.195 (talk) 19:08, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

See Ray Charles (disambiguation). Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 19:13, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Just to clarify: the Ray Charles (famous for his piano playing among other talents, although I'm not sure I would characterize his work as "jazz") died in 2004; Ray Charles of the Ray Charles Singers (not a piano player) died in 2015; we have no other articles on musicians of that name. Jennifer Rooms edit

If I remember correctly, when I first saw the music video for "If You Had My Love" in 1999 or early 2000s, Lopez there was labelled as "Jennifer Rooms" in a pop-up tag. Now I can't find such a thing or why it was so. Does anyone recall the same? Brandmeistertalk 19:23, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know about that instance, but it was common for performing artists to either be forced or volunteer to change their names to sound "less ethnic". See Martin Sheen (Ramón Antonio Gerardo Estévez) and Charlie Sheen (Carlos Estévez), for example. Some artists then change their names back, after they become famous, like John Cougar (John Mellencamp). However, more recently, perhaps due to the increasing Hispanic population in the US or more acceptance of various ethnicities, many now use their own names right from the start, like Selena Gomez. That certainly would not be necessary for Jennifer Lopez in 1999 when she was already a big star. In this case, in the video some guy is watching her on some kind of webcam or something, and the website says "Jennifer's Rooms". You can see it in the official video at around 49 seconds. Otherwise, the guy types in "Jennifer Lopez" at the beginning. Adam Bishop (talk) 20:54, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, perhaps that was it. Thanks. Brandmeistertalk 22:02, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
