  • 11:30am: Arrive, chat, SIGN-IN, experienced editors can start editing
  • 11:45am: Introductions to one another, and presentation of background materials to use
  • 12:00pm: Presentation: Wikipedia structure, policies and editing training
  • 12:30pm: Lunch
  • Until 4pm: Editing, reading, chatting

What should I bring?

  • A laptop computer, if possible. We expect to have a few spare tablet notebooks for attendees too.
  • Optionally, materials to incorporate into Wikipedia articles

Do I have to register to attend, or can I just arrive on the day?

Please register ahead of time using Eventbrite

Do I have to be a Wikipedia editor already?

No. Newcomers are welcome. Editing training will be provided. We'll refer to these:

What if I get hungry?

FREE lunch will be provided.

Can I arrive late? Or leave early? Or stay late?

Arrive any time and we won't lock anyone in! This event ends promptly at 4PM. You are welcome to continue editing at home.
