- Bring a laptop if you have one. There are publicly available computers if you don't have a laptop, but they are located elsewhere in the library.
Venue
editThe group will meet in the Meeting Room located on the ground floor of New Lynn War Memorial Library. Please ensure that the room is left how we found it including table and chair locations.
The library is a one-minute walk from New Lynn train station and the New Lynn Transport Interchange, served by trains on the Western Line, and numerous bus routes (14, 18, 22N, 24B, 24R, 68, 149, 152, 154, 161, 162, 170, 171, 172, 186, 195, 191, and 670).

Conversation amongst the wider group about opportunities for enriching information about Maraes in Auckland. B. Jankuloski had an interesting conversation about wikipedia expeditions/road trips - travelling with a photographer to smaller towns and making use of local resources to enrich material relating to less documented townships and settlements.
Dactylantha is going to read Shimmersea: A Memoir, by Mary Woodward and add some pages / Wikidata items for Mary D. Woodward and her other associated literary works (Waitākere's West Coasters, The Piha story, The Bethells of Te Henga, The landscape of my heart: the Bethells and their neighbors, Before the white man, The Woodward story).
