Wikipedia doesn't like linear gradient edit

I have a logo https://cdn.mediacru.sh/0/0vIDMKNNiGRl.svg with a gradient but when I upload it to wikipedia the image is blank. When in inkscape if I select a flat colour in the "Fill and Stroke" menu it shows up, but not with the linear gradient. Can someone make the gradient work. I've put up a version using a flat colour at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:St_marys_school_crest.svg

NHL Shield rendering issue, again edit

Request: Once again, any chance someone can figure out the render issues with this SVG? It seems to be fine for me on the file page, but not on the NHL page.
