Original – Five Swiss franc note (1914). Second issue by the Swiss National Bank, and contains multilingual bank title and denomination. The portrait depicts William Tell (based on Richard Kissling’s monument in Altdorf, Switzerland), with the Rütli Mountain in the distance. Issued 1 August 1914, the note bears the engraved signatures of K. Bornhauser (Chief Cashier), Johann-Daniel Hirter (President of the Swiss National Bank Council), and August Burckhardt (Board member).
Reason
High quality, high EV, very choice condition. This multilingual titled and denominated 5 Swiss Franc note was part of the second issue from the Swiss National Bank.
