Original - De Mairan's Nebula, Messier 43, seen from Hubble Space Telescope.

Reason: Stunning. I looked at the full res version and almost thought it was fake. It's beautiful, at least to my somewhat trained eye. Yet another HST image nom. by me, but its probably the best.
