Moving edit

I just moved my userpage to User:Siguy, but I don't know if I was allowed to do that. Is it possible for my username to be changed? TheOtherSiguy 01:53, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

An Automated Message from HagermanBot edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 21:18, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

proper use of speedy tags edit

You seem to have placed a speedy A7 tag -- db-spam (no assertion ofsignificance") on ""Mr Justice Goldring", who is asserted to be (and is) a member of the British House of Lords and a Commissioner of the Judicial Appointments Commission (If you're an American, this approx. equal to Justice of the Court of Appeals)). Perhaps your hand slipped. it did warrant a speedy, but as an almost empty duplicate of the real page at John Goldring DGG 23:24, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

ugly images edit

Hi, I noticed you commenting on a few article pages where User:Acom has contributed images. I was wondering if you might like to examine all his image contributions as about half are similar in nature to that presented in Polar-ring galaxy. 132.205.44.134 23:25, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

YOO Towers image edit

Thanks for commenting on the image at FPC. Please elaborate on how you think the image should be fixed. I don't especially understand the comment 'crooked'. Thanks, Ynhockey (Talk) 22:15, 28 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well done... edit

Hi Siguy,
Gee you must be exceptionally talented if you're doing stuff like [1] etc whilst still in Primary school! I don't want to be rude or anything, but is that a result of your Asperger's? Just curious, --Fir0002 10:50, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, actually, I'm in middle school now. Heh, havn't updated my wikipedia profile in a while. I havn't updated that website, either. I'm trying to get a hold of a better domain name. TheOtherSiguy 15:20, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
OK fair enough :) --Fir0002 06:46, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Missing image Image:Desiccation-cracks hg.jpg edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Desiccation-cracks hg.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Desiccation-cracks hg.jpg is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Desiccation-cracks hg.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Image copyright problem with Image:Amaryllis1.JPG edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Amaryllis1.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 00:25, 15 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Street Children article edit

Greetings, I have been trying to contact anyone interested in this article with regard to a better version. I've not had much success so far and hope you will reply. almudo (talk) 12:00, 28 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I reverted your edit because you rewrote the lead section in a type of point-of-view essay, not suitable for a NPOV encyclopedia. You should not replace a large section of an article. If you want to rewrite the article, you should rewrite the article as a sub-page of your user page and then have it peer reviewed, or discussed on the talk page of the article. Sorry. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
