Transient execution CPU vulnerability (filter log) (user filter log)
Description
I used certain CSS property to align links to the right between themselves, but still center the whole group in a table cell. This triggered the Fixed position vandalism (private) filter.
This is needed for full-width layout in which the table is wide. All the other methods do not help, because they cause alignment issues in fixed-width layout (they cause the wrapping link text to stretch the outer <span> which prevents the second link from being centered).
The relevant part is CVE column of BHI and Retbleed rows. I've already posted the rest of my edit, but there was an additional change.
New summary: /* Vulnerabilities and mitigations summary */ BHI & Retbleed: Align CVEs in full-width layout.

What's the point to make it private BTW? Those trying to do this already know how to do this and it can't be bypassed if all possible ways are listed.
And why does it say about "page-defacement attack"? This message is misleading. I thought that defacement is completely replacing a page with another one. If it also does some other checks, it would be better to call it "Page defacement vandalism". But the way it works would still be obvious to those trying to replace a page anyway.
Private – One or more of the filters triggered are private, and the request needs to be evaluated by an edit filter helper or manager. Nobody (talk) 12:29, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done and a change to the filter may be needed. As far as I can tell this isn't vandalism, and I've implemented the edit. I might suggest in the future, @EvgenKo423:, that you suggest these mass changes on the talk page, and that you simplify the edit summary a bit if possible, but otherwise good work, and thank you for your contributions. Will submit the filter to the noticeboard, I don't see any reason this is private either. --EggRoll97 (talk) 16:38, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I hope not to make such huge edits in a future. =)) Unfortunately, it wasn't feasible to split the table edits mostly as it would leave the table in a WIP state for weeks. EvgenKo423 (talk) 07:18, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done and a change to the filter may be needed. Ohnoitsjamie I believe this can be fixed in the filter. Nobody (talk) 10:50, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There's not an easy way to fix that and still target an active LTA on that range. OhNoitsJamie Talk 11:50, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I see the LTA hits you mean, but I'm not sure this is the best way to stop them with the amount of false positives there are. But I won't say more here for obvious reasons. Nobody (talk) 12:36, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Consider requesting on the article's talk page; please provide the necessary references. Your citations are cited improperly, but ignoring that, such a big change to an article should be discussed on the talk page first. – PharyngealImplosive7 (talk) 19:39, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict)   Already done by Suffusion of Yellow. @Suffusion of Yellow: Don't you think that \brizz(?!o) might be a bit too broad for the word "rizz"? I've seen a greater number of false positives concerning surnames beginning with "rizz" in comparison to other edit filters recently. Rusty4321 talk contribs 23:00, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes,   Fixed just a minute ago, see Special:AbuseFilter/history/614/diff/prev/32340. :-) Suffusion of Yellow (talk) 23:03, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was adding more information in regards to the Sangmin social class, as well as citing proper resources to back up my information. It is more history and elaborates more on what the original info had stated. I left the original and just added to the stub.

Question: Could you elaborate slightly, Rusty4321? I don't understand (A) how/where it was that Amalley0627 attempted to upload a file (whether here or in Commons), (B) how attempting to upload a file is related to the particular filter, or (C) how the particular filter (which I don't claim to understand well) prevented the edit. (If there's a reason not to explain, just say that there's a reason.) Hoary (talk) 02:57, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Hoary: My bad, I think I looked at the wrong filter trip (from the wrong user). I'll try to be more vigiliant in the future. Rusty4321 talk contribs 03:02, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done though a change to the filter may be needed. You were already told in your last report that New World Encyclopedia is not a reliable source. I'll leave it to Jamie if it's worth changing the filter. Nobody (talk) 06:00, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done – The filter is working properly. While not the intended target. Your article would be U5 either. Also don't but your Mail or Phone number on there. Nobody (talk) 06:34, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
