I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BLOCK OR REMOVAL OF THE PAGE....— Preceding unsigned comment added by Yessness89 (talkcontribs)

By creating this account and editing with it you evaded the block on your prior account, User:Pro Football Retired Players Association. You were told that you would not be unblocked to edit about your association. 331dot (talk) 19:08, 27 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

OK, I understand. Can the article be restored and I just allow someone else to edit it to improve the article?

Edits by blocked editors are not allowed to stand, as it would defeat the purpose of the block to allow them. When an independent editor takes note of your association after seeing significant coverage of it in an independent reliable source, it will be written about. You are free to appeal the block as described above, and any appeal will be reviewed by someone else. 331dot (talk) 19:22, 27 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

So, if I'm unblocked, can I write about this same topic?

In the short term, no. If you are interested in being a general contributor and want to edit about subjects unrelated to your conflict of interest, you might later be permitted to write and submit a draft about the Association for review- probably at least six months if not a year. If you are just here to represent the Association, there is in my opinion no pathway to being unblocked for you. 331dot (talk) 19:44, 27 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

OK, well can the page that says that is has been removed be deleted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yesness89 (talkcontribs) 19:49, March 27, 2020 (UTC)

No, it is not technically possible to do so. 331dot (talk) 19:53, 27 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

What if someone else writes about the Association? Will it still be there? 331dot

Pings do not work unless you sign your talk page posts with four tildes like this: ~~~~. Yes, if someone else independent of the association writes about it based on significant coverage in independent reliable sources, it will remain. 20:12, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:

I did not know all of the rules, nor did I understand how to create an article that does not sound like an advertisement. This is my first-ever experience working with anything Wikipedia-related, and I thought it was much simpler. I will not violate the rules again. I do, however, still have lots of questions.

Decline reason:

This doesn't address your violation of WP:SOCK or WP:EVADE, nor your continued violation of WP:COI and WP:PROMO. Yamla (talk) 20:17, 27 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
