Hello. All images that are tagged as copyrighted and are non-free must comply with all rules of Wikipedia:Non-free content. This includes Wikipedia:Non-free content#Policy rule # 10c, which states:

The name of each article (a link to each article is also recommended) in which fair use is claimed for the item, and a separate, specific non-free use rationale for each use of the item, as explained at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline (emphasis added).

There is currently no reference to the Sports in the San Francisco Bay Area page on the File:NewNinersStadium.jpg page, only a reference to the Levi's Stadium page. That is the rationale for my removal of this image on the Sports in the San Francisco Bay Area page. If you wish, you may add a separate rationale to File:NewNinersStadium.jpg, but be warned that others feel that non-free images should NOT be included within gallery sections under Wikipedia:Non-free content#Non-free image use in galleries or tables. Wiki Loves Pride

You are invited! Wiki Loves Pride

You are invited to participate in Wiki Loves Pride, a global campaign to create and improve LGBT-related content at Wikipedia during the month of June, culminating with a multinational edit-a-thon on June 21. The project is being spearheaded by two organizers with roots in the Pacific Northwest. Meetups are being organized in some cities, or you can participate remotely. Wikimedia Commons will also be hosting an LGBT-related photo challenge. In Portland, there are two ways to contribute. One is a photography campaign called "Pride PDX", for pictures related to LGBT culture and history. The Wiki Loves Pride edit-a-thon will be held on Saturday, June 21 from noon–4pm at Smith Memorial Student Union, Room 236 at Portland State University. I took it to mean that I was immune to the three revert rule, as I was simply undoing what I felt were abusive and threatening actions by others. I was actually in the process of writing a note of apology to Mendaliv for my misunderstanding when I found that I was unable to type anymore.

I also have a few questions, if I may: Did the obvious fact that I had misunderstood the meaning of the self-revert rule work for me or against me? Given that Mendaliv felt there were better alternatives to blocking, why was I dealt the harsher penalty? Why was I the only one blocked, when those others committed several violations, including the rotating edit war? Why was I blocked for a prime number of hours? And will all of this affect my efforts to force a scientifically accurate and consistent wording on the original issue?

Even I you do not answer my questions, I appreciate you reading this far.

Can you dig it?

You have completely and totally misunderstood what went on. The ISI rescuers dig straight down to extract the bunker occupants, and when they come up on the medevac floater, they are coming straight up. In the "Ivan part" of chapter 23, second paragraph, it reads, "The new hole was dug down through what had been the lower end of the little park; ..." That means they were across the street from ImpSec HQ. Also, if the bunker was directly under HQ, then it (and it's contents) would have been destroyed when the building sank. No historical treasure, no eight billion marks. However, Sergeant Abelard and his bomb were directly under ImpSec, but they were a ways back along the Mycoborer tunnel. Updating source references for F1 results tables

Hi Will102. I'm wondering whether it's a good idea to replace the old/archived formula1.com references with the "live" versions, as you did here. The old/archived versions contain the reason for retirement (e.g. [1]), whereas the "live" versions don't (e.g. [2]), so by changing to the "live" versions, there is a slight loss of verifiability. Also, by changing to the "live" versions, we risk the links becoming broken if formula1.com decide to rearrange their website again, as they did in 2015. What do you think? International Women's Day Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, Oregon Jewish Museum, Thursday, March 7

The Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education, in partnership with social practice artist Shoshana Gugenheim and as part of the Art+Feminism Project, will host the 2nd Annual International Women's Day Wikipedia Edit-a-thon to edit and/or create Wikipedia articles for Jewish women artists. The event will be held at the museum on Thursday, March 7 from 4 to 8 pm. Pre-registration is preferred but not required. Members of the public are invited to come to the museum to learn about the editing process, its history, its impact, and how to do it. We aim to collaboratively edit/enter 18 Jewish women artists into the canon. Support will be provided by an experienced local Wikipedian who will be on site to teach and guide the process. This edit-a-thon will serve as both a public art action and a public educational program. Participants will have an opportunity to select an artist/s ahead of time or on site.

Portland Art+Feminism Edit-a-thon: March 12, 2022

You are invited! An Art+Feminism Wikipedia edit-a-thon will be held in Portland, Oregon, on March 12, 2022. Learn more here!

Wikipedia is one of the most-visited sites on the internet—and it’s created by people who volunteer their time to write and edit pages. Learn how to edit Wikipedia and be a part of shaping our understanding of our world. In this workshop, volunteer Wikipedia editors will be on hand to train participants on how to get started editing pages and offer ideas for which pages you can pitch in to help improve. Show up at any point during the four hours to get started!

Also: Free burritos!! We will be providing vegan, vegetarian, and meat burritos from food cart Loncheria Las Mayos. Alder Commons has a large, fenced playground. Children are welcome! Some computers will be available to borrow, but if you have a laptop, please bring it to use. We will also be leading an online training for new editors at 11am-12pm PST. Please feel free to join that training if you are not able to show up IRL.
