Better source for Frenchman's Tower article

Here's a 1951 article from the Union Democrat that should help in establishing notability for Frenchman's Tower. Also, see this article at Metroactive. Your third paragraph, beginning "Over the years, trespassers have carved names or initials into almost every brick," doesn't have any sources and seems to be WP:Original Research. I'm also a little confused about the AfD for SoDak Con. I hope it's not out of line for me to ask, but since I am a new user I'm almost afraid to do things without verification first. dental implant

Hey Wikifr - thx for the edits on dental implant. at wp:medicine we've made a collective decision not to use the cite pmid (although i prefer it) opting for cite journal to ease translation of pages. the study is a cochrane analysis (a good secondary resource). why did you add the anchor text? are you linking from something else? Thx for the message. The problem (as I understand it) is that cite PMID and ISBN create a template page that is specific to that particular languages wiki. When the translators attempt to copy the article page, the link is lost and they have to try and find the data, retranscribe and translate it. Apparently there's also issues with how some of the data is moved with PMID (although I don't think that issue exists with ISBN). The real solution is to host citation data on Wikidata (see the grant proposal by BlueRasperry here meta:Grants:IdeaLab/Reform of citation structure for all Wikimedia projects) which is also a proposed roundtable at wikimania. If citations are all on Wikidata they will be accessible to all Wiki's (e.g. all languages). Until then, we've decided to standardize the data to cite journal and book. Personally, I liked the ISBN and PMID too but they create other problems. Once the data is migrated it should be easier. No problem adding in the link though. Thx. Rotating pocket heater

Were the four uses of 'substrait' vs. 'substrate' a phonetic misspelling? Also:

"deposit a layers" -> "deposit layers"

'verticle' -> 'vertical'

"... most of the area of the substraits are exposed to the vapor below." - 'substrates' would be plural, but 'area' would be one thing so singular, but 'are' is plural but applied to 'area' - it sounds weird like it should be 'is' but that would be for somebody who knows these things to decide? :-/

Hello, Wikfr. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment.
