SoDak Con Editor Disclosure Notice

edit

COI Concern:: As an editor of the SoDak Con article I would like it to be known that I am involved with this particular convention. However, my intention on editing the article here on wiki is to only further the wiki article itself and keep everything NPOV. My intentions are not to promote or personalize the article to better suit my own POV. If there are conflicts that arise due to positive or negative information being added or removed from the article I am more than willing to have someone else make the necessary edit's to keep the article compliant with Wikipedia's guidelines and standards. I have already made a similar disclaimer on the SoDak Con discussion page under the Contest Deletion section as to not hide my involvement in any way.Phoxtank (talk) 16:33, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Just wanted to let you know that I saw that you created the new article SoDak Con--Amy Z (talk) 04:30, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

List of Anime Conventions

edit

I have been peeking my head into the list and trying to assist by keeping it organized per the lists requirements. I'm still constantly learning about wiki, if one of my corrections ring's false please feel free to adjust and simply note the reason so that I may learn. If for some reason I find the edit to be questionable I will most likely seek further information to make sure that it's maintained properly and that I fully understand for the future as to where the edit came from. Thank you in advance for your assistance.Phoxtank (talk) 14:45, 17 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

AfD process

edit

I share your feelings of confusion and concern about the AfD process. I am also somwhat new. I try to keep in mind that we are all here to help each other create and improve encyclopedia articles. Don't take anything personally.

You might try reading Articles_for_deletion#How_to_contribute. It says, "Please disclose whether you are the article's creator, a substantial or minor contributor, or if you otherwise have a vested interest in the article." I made that disclosure, later, after I began modifying the article.

Also notice, that the nominator used the strike-through rule to retracted his earlier recommendation.

Notice the statement, "The debate is not a vote."

Another good article is Wikipedia:Responsible_tagging. I tried to apply what I learned, while working on SoDak Con.

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Wikfr (talk) 17:29, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Template:Anime conventions in North America

edit

I reverted some of your edits because no non-notable tag had been added to one of the articles nor a discussion had taken place about it. If the convention is non-notable you might want to WP:PROD or WP:AfD it and then remove the article if it is deleted. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 15:39, 30 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
