Hi. Thanks for editing. Your username is the name of a club, correct? On the English Wikipedia, we have a policy that does not allow usernames that are shared by multiple people, or to even look like they are shared by multiple people. Further, usernames in the form of a club are considered promotional, on a neutral encyclopedia. Would you be willing to change your username as soon as possible? I recommend requesting a simple rename. NTox · talk 19:30, 10 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Tourism in Poland‎

edit

Pozdrawiam, Poeticbent talk 08:29, 28 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Can I ask you to please explain your motives? [1] You did not add anything in the "summary", so I do not know what you meant. But, you can see in black and white that I changed this article for the better. I exchanged the photos for the UNESCO sites too, and not just any little known sightseeing objects. If you were just upset that your number 17 went, that's because you did not provide a quote. Next time add a quote right away. Please reply, because I'm not going to argue with you. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you.

  • I've left a note at WP:AN3 regarding the dispute you're having. I strongly urge you to comment at the noticeboard. If you fail to do so, you risk being blocked for edit warring, even though you have not yet breached WP:3RR.--Bbb23 (talk) 11:25, 14 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Marek69. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Tourism in Poland because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Marek.69 talk 17:13, 27 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi! With respect to Tourism in Poland we're collectively trying to spread the photos around to represent as many regions of Poland as possible and a variety of mountains, rivers, buildings, etc. I substituted your suggestion for the Wroclaw Town Hall instead of the zoo. I also included the updated link to the UN tourism report you provided. Putting the bit in about the forests is good, but it needs to be in the right location of the article so it doesn't disrupt the flow. I would be happy to work with you if you have any questions on editing, we can always use more people working the Poland articles. Ajh1492 (talk) 17:54, 27 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. • You commented in the latest edit (Undid revision 580143711 by Ajh1492 (talk) Hall Wroclaw >> Hall Wroclaw! About this bog, even in Poland, few have heard, so no exaggeration to placing him here). Did you mean that you don't think many people have heard of the Centennial Hall in Wroclaw? Let's talk about this on the article talk page. Ajh1492 (talk) 17:06, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Tourism in Poland shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. -- Marek.69 talk 17:51, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed block

edit

Please see my suggestion here that you be blocked for a month due to your long-term edit warring at Tourism in Poland. You may be able to avoid a block if you will accept the offer that I made at the noticeboard. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 18:19, 7 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

You made no response to the offer but continued the pattern of edits which led to the AN3 complaint. For example here you once again change an image in Tourism in Poland to a version that lacks consensus. See WP:AN3#User:WKS Śląsk Wrocław reported by User:Marek69 (Result: Blocked). If you change your mind and decide to follow policy, you can request unblock per WP:GAB. EdJohnston (talk) 16:55, 9 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
