Hi Victor, thank you for your work on the Angelfire page. I think you're quite right about the individual bio info being available elsewhere. There are some other changes you have made which I don't agree with, but with me being an inexperienced editor, would like to discuss them with you. As a journalist, I have been writing a biography of the artist who has been well-known in the domain of Belgian modern painting, and one of the main teachers of the Royal Academy of Arts, Brussels. The painter has also won quite a few major prizes as a painter and a carver. The collection lies in the hands of quite a few major belgian collectors and also in different Belgian institutions; to my knowlkedge, nothing is to be sold for more than 20 years now. I do declare that all these informations are FACTS and true. The decision of censorship is cleary partial. Even Belgian painters should have a mention in Wikipedia lol To the contrary you can censor "paris hilton" or "britney spears" from the encyclopedy right now because these persons do not exist. teeh eeh... Lonari

Dear sir,

Many thanks to you on your article on 'Lonari'.

As a lonari myself I have studied my caste deeply and can firmly say that I know my caste and its traditions better than many others. Although the article is to a greater extent factfully correct, but there are are areas needed to be relooked at thoroughly. Fact 1)

For example; Lonari was always an Upper caste as considered by the Indian Government until 1991.It was only under the Prime Ministership of Dr VP Singh that Mandal Aayog recommendations were implemented. The recommendations include giving privileges to some upper castes to get OBC status so that they can get government benefits and reservations in jobs and education etc. Many upper caste including Marathas,Lonaris, Jats etc and many others have been moved to OBC status after a long fight with the government during 1991.These caste are still vulnerable as they can be restored back to their original upper caste or 'Open' status.

(Fact 2) In Maharashtra many communities and caste pay their respects to Lord Khandoba of Jejuri near Pune as their comunity or caste deity. Lonaris are also definetly one of them.For example all the lonaris from Nasik belt are known to show their respects to lord Khandoba and that is with many other Lonaris from different parts of Maharashtra.

(Fact 3) Lonaris also keep their records with the 'Bhaats' or the record keepers who are in service of the Lonaris. They mainly record whenever a son is born in a lonari family. They record the new brides name that enters the lonari family and they also record a death in the family. These records are kept from many centuries and by date ad time.There are examples where one can find records written on certain Tree Leafs.

(Fact 4) There are various other surnames other than what are given and can be included as respected Lonari surnames such as; Holkar,Kurhe,Gite,Kute,Kanade etc.

Sir, there are other some changes apart from what have mentions and I'm willing to make and need your support in doing the same. I know there is a website on Lonari, but I'm sorry to say that it is not upto the mark.Apart from lots of grammatical mistakes, there is lack of professional service to neatly maintain the website stating clear facts and figures, which at this time is not happening.

I'm doing this so that my caste is reflected in the right manner with all the truefacts for anyone to know and that injustice is not done to it and thus looking forward for your help in doing so.

Entendi! Sim, sou um dos responsáveis pelo projeto Encontra SP, do qual o Encontra Carapicuiba faz parte.

Nós começamos a disponibilizar nosso conteúdo no Wikipedia agora, então não entendo isso tão bem ainda. Seria possível você me sugerir um texto ancora para o link, de forma que não pareça um site comercial? Já quero evitar esse tipo confusão em outros links que pretendo colocar.
