Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Christian Reesman

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Christian Reesman, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Welcome!

Hello, TheMobMaster2006, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was Draft:Christian Reesman, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 18:30, 15 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I was blocked because I "wasn't here to build an encyclopedia" even though I am. I made an accurate and justifiable change to the Arvada West High School page, and was blocked for it. I would at least appreciate a more specific explanation on why what I did was not allowed. TheMobMaster2006 (talk) 18:36, 15 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You'll need to account for your edits to Allendale Elementary School. Specifically and directly. Yamla (talk) 18:39, 15 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

My "edits" to Allendale Elementary School were actually my attempt to create a page for the school, since it doesn't have it's own. My ban reason never mentioned it either, so I assumed it was only for my edits to Arvada West High School. The page I attempted to create was based off a template for other schools in the district, and contained factual and relevant information. I'm not entirely sure why my page was deleted, but I don't mind either way. TheMobMaster2006 (talk) 17:06, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I can't say about the edits to the AES article as they have been oversighted. I once had access to that tool so I could have, but not anymore since we don't need to use it much. And frankly this is the first time I've seen it used since ... well, since I had it, over a year ago around the time the pandemic began. So I can say if it was used, it had to be pretty bad. And I can only guess based on your edits to Arvada West High School, some of which I think I may have to RevDel. So no, I'm not unblocking ... some vandals at school IPs have gotten their districts blocked for years for less. — Daniel Case (talk) 05:44, 22 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
