You're going to need to confirm that you are the owner of the images you uploaded to commons (i.e., that you're Paul Gilligan). It might be enough for someone officially affiliated with Gilligan or his syndicate to send an email to me, but let me check first to see if there's a more official route. Also, while we'd welcome the images and most of the additional content, it is important that article maintain a neutral tone, and that it avoid sounding like it's trying to sell the books. Hope all is well. I was wondering if you've had a chance to check on the status of our revisions. I understand your concerns and would like to assure you that the revisions have been authorized by Paul Gilligan. Is there an email address where Paul can send you a confirmation? Paul is getting a bit anxious as to why we haven't been able to update the Pooch Cafe wiki page and we want to make the updates live (with all your recommended revisions) as soon as possible. Any assistance you can offer in this regard would be most appreciated.

Sorry, forgot about this. You'll want to file an WP:OTRS ticket to get permission to release the copyright from the images (see here for more info). I checked Paul's blog and didn't see anything about him releasing copyrights on the images. Also, I'd suggest you redo the content to make it more encyclopedic in tone. See Pearls_Before_Swine_(comics) for an example of an article that describes the characters without taking too much of an informal tone. OhNoitsJamie ^Talk 15:56, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Copyright problem

It has recently been noticed that although the images were released under a usable license in the e-mails discussed above, the text was not. As such the page has been blanked and listed at WP:Copyright problems while we attemp to obtain permission to use the text as well.
