Article on Portuguese in South-India

Hi, I am still unsure about the specifics but most sources I have read indicate the Portuguese converted approx. 20 000 people to Latin Catholics on the Tamil Nadu coast and implemented Papal authority within Kerala and Tamil Nadu to the Christians there already, this is included in the Latin Catholic past. There seems to be confusion within the article regarding the geography of the two coasts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.111.39.134 (talk) 10:42, 8 February 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Violence against Christians in India, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Persecution of Christians in the post–Cold War era

Hello User:Suneye1! I hope this message finds you doing well. I noticed your contributions on an article I just edited and thought you might be interested in expanding the article on the persecution of Christians in the modern era. As of now, the article is in poor shape. The website of International Christian Concern and the website of Voice of the Martyrs have quite a bit of information on these topics, with some of these stories being covered in mainstream sources searchable on any search engine. I look forward to hearing from you! With regards, AnupamTalk 15:39, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

POVFORK and using Wikipedia for advocacy

Regarding DMK page

The political Position of DMK is Third largest Party in Indian Parliament.... UPA won 39/40 in Tamil Nadu( parliamentary election 2019) DMK is the Official Opposition in Tamil Nadu Assembly.... These were my edits in that page.. And i think there is no mistake in this.. Nk TheWikipedian (talk) 10:04, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

Replied on your talk page. SUN EYE 1 12:05, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

But in Dmk is a state party... So it can contest in tamilnadu and puducherry only.. There are 40 lok sabha seats in these states.. So only i changed the lok sabha seats from 545 to 40.. Because dmk can't contest in 545 seats.. It can only contest in 40 lok sabha seats.. Nk TheWikipedian (talk) 13:16, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

Nk TheWikipedian, Yes, it's a state level party and considering all other articles of state level parties like the Aam Aadmi Party, YSR Congress Party, it is better to keep it in the same format and it is also less confusing. Please don't add it again and again without consensus. If possible, please undo your last changes in the article. SUN EYE 1 15:29, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

Change Other state parties to the lok sabha & rajya sabha seats in there state numbers... Like DMK Nk TheWikipedian (talk) 15:36, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

Nk TheWikipedian, You can't do that. That's not the format and you need to get consensus with the other users for that. Read Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines. SUN EYE 1 15:58, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

reksthegn deletion

I hope I am in the right place to discuss the speedy deletion of reksthegn. It came from the link at mannebot where 15 social classes were mentioned. All 15 have links to Norwegian pages and 9 of those 15 Norwegian pages had been linked to corresponding English Wikipedia pages. Of the 6 remaining unlinked to English, I recently translated and linked Løsingssønn and Løsing leaving 4 untranslated and unlinked (Staller, Leilending, Årbåren, and Reksthegn). I was working on Leilending and came across the fact that a free man could not become a leilending until he was an Årbåren and I was planning on creating a link to English Årbåren.

At any rate, I would like to create English links to the four remaining corresponding social classes (Staller, Leilending, Årbåren and Reksthegn). What are your thoughts? Do you think and of the four remaining social classes should be created in English from their corresponding Norwegian article? Redriv (talk) 16:58, 19 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi there,
I was just doing a copy edit on this page, when I noticed that reference № 13 in the lede is titled Mechanisms of disposal of acid and alkali in rabbit duodenum from The American Journal of Physiology.
Is some having a joke? 'Drive-by' vandalism?   220 of Borg 18:38, 31 May 2020 (UTC)

It's been there since at least January 2. See the version of the page here. Regards, 220 of Borg 18:56, 31 May 2020 (UTC)

? Fairly newby editor, but it's unnerving it's been there for NINE months! I occasionally came across a page that's been totally screwed up, had page huge amounts of content deleted unnoticed, or just been made 'invisible' by fly-by vandals or 'test' edits.
It's surprising what a little 1 or 2 bytes edit can do to a page. I wonder what other 'horrors' are out there waiting to be fixed?   220 of Borg 04:44, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

HONORARY DOCTORATE DEGREE

Hi,

M.G.Ramachandran - I had changed the details regarding the Honorary Doctorate degree based on the "original Certificate/Cittion" received by him. The details given earlier were wrong and Misleading. I am attached the Image files as evidence, this could very well be verified from your end.

The information provided by me is 100% true, the attachments will same the same.

Please correct the details as I had done.

M.G.RAMACHANDRAN - HONORARY DOCTORATE DEGREE WITH THE DATE AND REASON WHY IT WAS GIVEN PLUS BHARAT RATNA AWARD

Hi,

In fact, I am not the copywright owner of those Images but these images are available with most of them in Tamil Nadu, South India. Please make a note of that as well.

Shall very much appreciate if you could make the changes as I had done.

SAILESHKB, I don't think image files would pass Wikipedia:Reliable sources. Do you have any web links from reliable mainstream media sources? SUN EYE 1 07:17, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

M.G.RAMACHANDRAN HONORARY DOCTORATE DEGREE AND BHARAT RATNA AWARD - EXACT DATE AND REASONS

Morning,

As I said earlier the Certificate itself shows the exact date/year and Reason. If that is not acceptable can I request Wikipedia to show the "reliable media report/link" that Arozona University gave the Honorary Degree for "contribution to Indian Cienma" with the year and date please. Same is the case with University of Madras gave the Honorary Degree for "Contribution to Indian Cinema" in the year 1974 with date and the Indian Government gave Bharat Rathna in 1988 for Contribution to Arts" with year and date!!!

I wanted to correct the incorrect details provided by wikipedia and you want media link for something which happened may be nearly 40 years before. The only way to physically see is to Visit M.G.Ramachandras Memorial House in T./Ngar, Chennai, Madras, Tamil Nadu South India. The other method is to contact Government of India for Bharat Rathna award authenticity and World University and University of Madras for Honorary Doctorate Degree "authenticity" Then you will accept that the details given by me is 100% correct.

Now, I am least concerned if it is corrected or not, I am sure wikipedia is misleading the public by giving such incorrect details.

Thanks & regards,

Sailash — Preceding unsigned comment added by SAILESHKB (talkcontribs) 07:44, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

SAILESHKB, Yes you will have to provide a citation if you are changing something in wikipedia, see WP:WHYCITE. I found sources which says he did receive Honorary doctorates from those universities but they don't mention the date or the reason it was given to him. [1], [2]. You can take this discussion to the article talk page, so other editors can also comment on the issue. Regards, SUN EYE 1 08:14, 5 June 2020 (UTC)

M.G.RAMACHANDRAN

Morning,

Thanks for your response.

I have posted it in the Talk Section as said by you.

My only concern is correct information has to be given [not with "wrong date" "wrong Year" and "why it was given"].

Thanks & regards,

Kathmandu is not the city which is known as the city of the temples.

Initial lines of the introductory paragraph of the city Kathmandu in the wikipedia is partially incorrect so I corrected it, and I got the message from you(Suneye1), so i thought of writing back to you. Kathmandu is the capital of the present Nepal that's the truth, but it is not correct that it is the "City of the temples" as well.

Let me explain some part of the history of Nepal in brief. Before the Unification campaign, in Nepal, there were many states, rules by many kings. Kathmandu valley was called "Nepal Mandala". Khwopring(now Bhadgaon/Bhaktapur/Khwopa) was the capital of it. The king of Khwopring divided three major region(i.e, Ye, Yala, and Khwopring) to his three sons to rule as the different kingdoms. And during the unification campaign, Bhadgaon was the last kingdom to be annexed to Gorkha, among the kingdoms in Kathmandu valley. After defeating Bhadgaon the current king of the Gorkha, at that time, declared Kathmandu as the capital and Nepal as the name of his great empire. You might think why was i explaining all these things. When the valley was the single kingdom current Bhadgaon was the capital and the development of the art, culture and infrastructure was centralized there, as compare to the other region of the valley. And as per the location of the one of the first pagoda temple, the Changu Narayan Temple is the oldest temple of Nepal in existence, was build in Pagoda style, by King Mandev of Lichhavi dynasty, and is located in the Changu Narayan municipality, Bhaktapur. And for the name "City of the Temples". I have to document why is it called so, but it is in Nepali. As soon as i finished translating it i'll put it in wikipedia. I'll explain in brief why was it called so. When there was Rana regime in Nepal(especially Kathmandu valley), was a isolated from the foreign tourist. Therefore, normal people from outside were not allowed to visit Nepal, only government officials from certain nations were allowed to do so. Therefore, when the tourism was established as the proper thing in Nepal, english people came to visit here. They saw that the designs of the houses and temples are almost the same, as the houses were equally decorative as the temples. The style of the roof, plinth, wall, windows, etc were almost same. Therefore, Bhaktapur is the city of the temples of Nepal and not the Kathmandu.

Tamils edit

In the article Tamils, the first line states, "Tamils (/ˈtæmɪl/), are speakers of the Tamil language and trace their ancestry to the Indian state of Tamil Nadu or Sri Lanka." and the reference is cited as: https://books.google.com/books?id=abNDLZQ6quYC&pg=PA315&dq=tamils+dravidian+ethnic+group&hl=en#v=onepage&q=tamils%20dravidian%20ethnic%20group&f=false. That book does NOT claim that Tamils trace their ancestry to Sri Lanka. It's an incorrect reference. Tamils migrated to Sri Lanka and that is common knowledge. Would you please verify the current reference. I suspect it's poor grammar on the initial author's part. Tamils do live in the northern part of Sri Lanka, but do NOT trace their ancestry from Sri Lanka. It's almost laughable that such an incorrect statement has made it to the first page of the otherwise good Wikipedia page, and has therefore been picked up on the top few lines of Google search and several news articles. In fact, the history of Tamils is listed accurately with sources in the same article. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.182.88.100 (talk) 04:35, 14 August 2020 (UTC)

SUNEYE, concerning Tamil film Veera, I do not have the source regarding the temple, however, since I've seen the movie many times since it's release and knowing that temple, it is indeed the Sri Lakshmi Janardhana Swamy Temple in Dowleswaram, which is a town within Rajahmundry. Go on youtube and look up the temple and compare it with the movie. I bet you 100% that you can verify this with Dir. Thanks for feedback

Hi Suneye1,

Thanks for your feedback. I was wondering why it got reversed. I will add citation to the changes. I edited it because it is an error as I know the individuals personally. They are not from IFS but IAS and IPS service. I will add a news reporter to substantiate the changes.

Kalaripayattu

Religious fanatics are taking ownership at Kalaripayattu and not allowing any edits deviating from their agenda. The worst part is it is pending-changes protected and they all are confirmed accounts who can make changes without scrutiny. None of them give proper explanation for reverting, and sometimes blatantly reverts multiple edits (edited with proper edit summary) without explanation. Two of them have COI as evident from their usernames (Kalari). Their main business is promoting their POV and highlighting Hinduism part, though Kalaripayattu do have rituals based on Hinduism, the art itself is not a "Hindu art", it just happened to have originated when only Hindu "religion" was prevalent in Kerala. It is a martial art practised by all religious communities, many of the masters are Muslims, the Christians even have a folk dance derived from Kalaripayattu. Some Hindu extremists are "making statements" by projecting Hinduism on an otherwise communally harmonious martial art. BTW, I am also a Hindu, but this is too much.

The first time my edit got reverted (see history here onward), I never thought it was religious agenda, but now it's becoming clearer, as User:Kalariwarrior changed "Indian mythology" to "Hindu mythology" (source says former), and User:Kalari Poothara's recent Hinduism promotion in lead, and as Outlander07 is now trying to re-insert Hinduism claims (not in the source) in lead which I had removed; he had also removed a sourced mention about a Hindu lower-caste community – Thiyya. There are multiple legends on the creator - Parashurama, Shiva, Agasthya; they want Parashurama, not only that, they don't want to attribute it as "legend" (I agree with [4]). I suspect Outlander07 and Kalariwarrior to be the same person, all three are incompetent in editing. The article requires serious cleanup for sourcing and NPOV. Should I report this activity to WP:ANI, or somewhere else, or what? Please help. 157.44.177.126 (talk) 11:21, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Adimurai. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. For repeatedly adding unsourced content and subjective promotional attributions such as "regarded as one of the oldest and most important martial art", violating WP:NPOV, and for creating MOS:HEADCAPS issues. 157.44.163.5 (talk) 17:30, 5 December 2020 (UTC)

I had told you in the first place (even before all these edit war) that to explain your issue in talk page. If you had did that this should not have happened. You already violated WP:4RR and more. Even if you were to revert, you should have been reverting only the specific part, not the whole edit, doing so you also re-insert problematic content and remove constructive edits. This only gives me more reasons to accuse you. 2409:4073:4E8B:3F70:BD4D:AF94:B9C0:D688 (talk) 20:00, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
I started both the discussions in the talk page in my first revert. You went on to edit-war without using the talk page and still don't want to discuss it in the talk pages. Provide diffs for that 4RR accusation. SUN EYE 1 12:32, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
You do know all edits has log history, don't you? I am the one who first told you to discuss the issue at talk page, but you refused and continued edit-warring, you started discussing only after I send you warning notice here. "4RR accusation"? Alaigal Oivailittai

Sorry, In Alaigal Oivailittai, as "Vagai," the actor is NOT Mahthir Mohamed, the prime Minister of Malaysia -- Mahathir Mohamed is a Malaysian politician, a Malay (not Indian), was not an actor, never acted in any Tamil film, let alone Alaigal Oivathillai. I am not sure if any Mohamed acted there, so I left it as just "Mohamed as Vagai," but rest assured, it was not the Malaysian Prime Minister. Sorry, you made a mistake by reinstating it, after I deleted it. Please do not add Mahathir Mohammed again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.4.100.247 (talk) 03:57, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

Bigg Boss Sites

Hello there! I am Wikipedia editor SPEcial EDItor 2020 :) I just wanted to clarify a doubt with you, if that is ok :)

In sites Bigg Boss Tamil 1, 2, and 3 Nominations Table , an account 2A01:4C8:A8:1542:894A:AFC6:6E77:7A21 has been changing the fontsize multiple times by adding the code "{{{1}}}" . When I reverted the font size to the normal size, the user left a talk page on my User Account saying that I did not follow the rules and that I would be blocked from Wikipedia if I reverted the edit.

Considering that the original font size before the user's edit was similar to my edit, I feel that I didn't do any mistake in editing the Wikipedia page. Incase if I am wrong, I am extremely sorry for my mistake, and I hope you can forgive me :)

So my question is, which font size is supposed to be correct for the Bigg Boss Nomination Table ?, and if user 2A01:4C8:A8:1542:894A:AFC6:6E77:7A21 is wro g, will he be blocked from Wikipedia ? I need to know the correct font size to prevent any disputes happening in my talk page (User 2A01:4C8:A8:1542:894A:AFC6:6E77:7A21 has already left a talk page before this issue), thank you so much for helping me, and I hope that no more confusions will happen in Wikipedia :) SPEcial EDItor 2020 (talk) 13:25, 26 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi User:SPEcial EDItor 2020, I can't find any difference in the desktop version but it does not look user-friendly in the mobile version, so it is better if the code stays there. You both did not change the font size so you don't need to worry about it. SUN EYE 1 14:59, 26 December 2020 (UTC)

Please help out?

Hello again! It’s been a while, but I was wondering if you could help me out with this. A while back, you filed a report against an anonymous IP on WP:ANI for WP:GAMING and other issues they were causing on pages such as Silambam and Kalaripayattu. The report to WP:ANI was archived without response, but the same user you accused appears to be involved again. It seems that he (or more likely, one of the IPs he hops to) has filed a report against me here in WP:ANI, claiming that I am biased, and using Wikipedia to “promote my own views,” when this is not the case. He seems to have gone through my entire contribution history for the past year or so in order to find diffs to support his accusations, while blowing things way out of proportion so he can gain support for his accusations. As you have filed a report against this user (if it is indeed the same person) in the past, and have viewed some of my edits in the past, I wanted to ask if you would be able to help out here. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kalariwarrior (talk) 22:32, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

Notice of a potential vandal

Just see the discussion between me and another user named Faster edits in my talk page. I think he is a threat to the neutrality of this site and even doesn't shy away to use sexual innuendos in Tamil as a rebuttal to healthy criticism of his edits. I don't have admin power and hence bringing this to your attention so that you can at least give stern warning if not outright ban him. Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 12:58, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Bro, I am from the neighborhood village of ponparappi. Since from that neighborhood , I have believed something things strongly, which are only mouth- words like something regarding violences like stone- pelting, exchanging curse words and some fights. Nothing I heard about sexual violence. So that reason , I have firmly asked for the citation for that claim. everyone can be wrong at any point in life. This time it was me. Even the fact that reached my ear is manipulated or something happened. Anyway asking citation is a common thing. That's all bro. Fine ....thums up... Faster edits (talk) 14:47, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Justify your last edit on Veerappan page.

Why do you think that citation was misleading? The citation clearly stated that Veerappan was revered by Vanniyar community and one of their political leaders had asked them to shun this hero-worshipping. Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 05:46, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

Ihaveabandonedmychild, The article says it is the political party hailing him as a hero from the community not the community itself, see WP:OR. SUN EYE 1 06:03, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

Before reverting the edit, check for the grammar.

While you may have rightfully earned certain editing privileges here, you are still obliged to use them in good faith and poise. Your last revert on Byju's page seemed to be impulsive as it completely restored bad phrasing and grammar which the previous edit had corrected. Ihaveabandonedmychild (talk) 06:00, 23 January 2021 (UTC)

Using an undo option or WP:TW is not a privilege, any autoconfirmed user can use it. In the first glance, I saw the unsourced content and did not see grammar errors and it's not my responsibility to clean up every article I patrol. You had corrected it and there is no reason to tell me here. SUN EYE 1 06:16, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
It is not your job to clean up anything either. Nobody is forcing you to do that. If you choose to do it, do it properly and don't undo good efforts of the other user.Make sure, you read it twice before reverting an edit.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ihaveabandonedmychild (talkcontribs)

Sikh page

Hello Sir,

I changed the population count of Sikhs with 3 different references including one of the Sikligar, Lohgar and Vanjara Sikh population whom mostly reside outside of Punjab and have little to no connection with Punjab of than the religion they profess to follow. Their population numbers around 100 million. For this I made the change with links provided. It’s because of this I also keep changing the languages spoken by Sikhs as you keep changing the Sikh population to be entirely of a Punjabi background. I would like to know why you keep removing content that has references that provide all this. Pritstick69 (talk) 21:22, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

Hi Pritstick69, I could not find the claim of 140 million Sikh population in either of the three references you provided. Sikh24 is not a reliable source and the references from the Indian Express and Tribuneindia reports the Sikh population as 12-15 crores as estimated by a Sikh organization which is not as reliable as the government census data already present there. Help

Hi, @Suneye1:

Regarding opinion poll on 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election:

A survey released by Democracy Network - Ungal Kural seems unreliable, missing credible sources and did not covered well by media. The newspaper published that poll says the sample size was 80,050, which further increases the doubt on reliability. Another survey done by Puthiya Thalaimurai included only two major parties and even didn't have the "others/don't know" option. So I've removed both of the above mentioned surveys. I request you to clarify about these things to users who may involve in edit war. (A user publicly scolded me as a terrorist for removing that surveys [in edit summary].) Thank you. Selva15469 (talk) 02:15, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi Selva15469, Democracy Network is indeed not a WP:REPUTABLE outlet and I can't even find their website or social media pages. Puthiya Thalaimurai is a WP:NEWSORG and reliable and the unavailable data can be written as "data not available" or something similar. I've warned the user for personal attacks and if they continue you can report them at WP:ANI. SUN EYE 1 05:05, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

Neutral Language when talking about Caste System

Hi Suneye1 ! Thank you for offering to help, im pretty new to editing and I have a few questions on a recent edit that was reverted.

The edit was around movies which depict caste system in India, and the pages had words like “Upper” caste and “lower” caste, which are predominantly used but not necessarily neutral. I may not be right in changing them to different words, “Oppressor” and “Oppressed”, but I want to understand how we can avoid “Upper” and “lower” caste language because these words are again decided and are comfortable for people from the “Upper” caste people. Im not sure if there is already discussion around this topic and the language.

Thanks a lot!

Sagarikakumar (talk) 12:53, 18 August 2021 (UTC)

Hi Sagarikakumar, my answer is same as Arjayay in User_talk:Arjayay#Edit_on_Dhadak. It's better to write what is in the source but since your edits are in the film plot, I suggest you to use the most commonly used words. I too am not very sure about this. Perhaps, you can raise this on Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics. SUN EYE 1 13:37, 18 August 2021 (UTC)

Hi Suneye1 ! Thanks for the response. I will write on the Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics page recommended for a larger discussion. Thanks Again. Sagarikakumar (talk) 04:00, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

Your signature

Per WP:SIGAPP, I request that you remove the yellow background from your signature. It overlaps the adjacent text making it hard to read. Note how "/Sweetindian" looks like "/Sweetindiar". Thanks. -- RoySmith (talk) 13:45, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

RoySmith, Very sorry for all the trouble, I've brought the yellow background to the same level as the text. - SUN EYE 1 14:09, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
Thanks. And, in trying to reply here, I discovered another problem. Please see this thread about talk page color backgrounds. I think you've got the exact same issue. Maybe the same fix will work? -- RoySmith (talk) 14:15, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
RoySmith, Thanks for the suggestion, I don't have custom templates for headers and archives like Oshwah and that's likely why its not working for me. I've removed it for now and will re-add if I find a fix. Thanks- SUN EYE 1 15:19, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
Yup, I now get the "[reply]" link like I'm supposed to. Thanks for fixing that too. -- RoySmith (talk) 15:39, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
RoySmith, the problem was an open blockquote by another user in a section above [7] and not from the div style for the background color as I don't already have it transcluded. I could not find the reply link for half of my talk page for months and was trying to fix it without knowing an open HTML tag was the issue. Thanks a lot. - SUN EYE 1 16:28, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

Can you explain how that is considered disruptive editing?. You can't just make false accusations. Tamil Eelam is no longer supported by any of the major Tamil parties[8] who represent the Tamil people in Sri Lanka. Since it's only right to use the past tense when describing the concept. Since you have accused me of disruptive editing, Can you please state your evidence?. YaSiRu11 (talk) 13:15, 14 September 2021 (UTC)

Explain in the article's talk page why you removed content in this edit with an edit summary "Update". Removing content without any proper explanation is WP:DE. If you have further concerns, raise them at the article's talk page. - SUN EYE 1 13:22, 14 September 2021 (UTC)

Why I Removed Castes from Mayawati, Kanshiram & Chandrasekhar Azad Ravan.

To express my views & to discuss the reason and the purpose for attaching the said "Indian Caste identity" over Wikipedia articles. From my viewpoint, what I have noticed is this the Wikipedia pages providing info on Indians be it politicians, Filmstars, Social workers even Sportsmen all have been attached to a particular caste according to their surnames. well... such things may be prevalent among Indian villagers & Indian Politicians. Why Wikipedia?

A platform like Wikipedia which is known to be a knowledge-seeking platform is fuelling Indian casteism in their said encyclopedias. I have noticed particularly in the sections of Early life or Personal life, the Indian Celebs according to their names are attached to a particular caste be it Brahmin, Kshatriya, Bania, Kshatriya, Dalit, OBC & Adivasi communities (a.k.a castes).

My question is why Wikipedia is promoting & fuelling Hindu Casteism? Is Wikipedia unaware of Indian racism & casteism? & why are the Wiki moderators often found to neglect it? Frankly, speaking this 15th-century insanity is promoted & defended only by a bunch of illiterate Rural Indian villagers who are known to be the chief architects of Indian casteism & racism whereas, Indian politicians who are fuelling it through official paper works & Sometimes unofficially through their speeches.

In this 21st century, why are the Indians attached to a caste & community even if that person never did any stuff done by him as done by his forefathers representing their occupation & castes?

In India, A person who never read a single Hindu scripture his entire life is automatically labelled as brahmin! (I urge Hindus should read their scriptures to get the definition of a Brahmin before labelling someone in open). Then we have the modern-day Kshatriya castes & communities who never hold a sword nor indulge in any kind of warfares his entire life still boasts in his Rajput pride or Maratha pride. The Kingship-Monarchy and Brahminical caste-hierarchy were abolished centuries ago by the hammer of Law.

the advent of the Indian Constitution such as Hindu Racism Casteism has been controlled to some extent in rural areas still the majority of the uneducated villagers boasting in the occupations of their forefather's think of themselves to be something "Born twice, thrice, high & indifferent". They like to label themselves as born in a particular "high caste & communities" to justify their delusions. And Wikipedia is promoting it.

If someone is from the Hindu religion, then automatically he will be attached to a particular caste according to his surname which I found not only to be dogmatic but also draconian & ABSURD. Such things should not be tolerated. Hindu religion might be the origin of Indian-Casteism (a.k.a the last fort of Caste-hierarchy on earth). Casteist beliefs should not be propagated not in this way. Such absurdity though Prevalent among High birth Hindus & majority of the slave residents of the Indian subcontinent but these should not be mentioned not promoted in a platform like Wikipedia? This is what I believe.

Note: I didn't vandalize the said content from Wikipedia. What I did was removing the term "caste" from Ambedkarite politicians who believe in the principle of "Annihilation of Castes". ChongPong (talk) 10:52, 21 September 2021 (UTC)

@ChongPong I reverted your edit and gave you a warning for "not adequately explaining content removal" and not for WP:VANDALISM. Wikipedia is WP:NOTCENSORED and you can't just remove sourced content if you find it offensive. You need to gain a broader WP:CONSENSUS to remove caste from all articles and Wikipedia is governed by WP:Policies and guidelines and not by personal opinions, the right place for a discussion about remove caste from all articles would be at Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics. Do not use talk pages as WP:FORUM - SUN EYE 1 13:22, 21 September 2021 (UTC)

Rudra Thandavam (film)

Add the propaganda film in the intro of Rudra Thandavam as it has been described as propaganda film by multiple critics. It has been repeatedly edited out by vandals. 2409:4040:E8D:D002:1458:11F6:E1DE:F689 (talk) 10:20, 29 October 2021 (UTC)

Hello IP, I don't see anything in the article explicitly addressing it as a "propaganda film"; see WP:OR. If critics state that, they must be attributed in the lead as "critics". You can create a section in the talk page and reach WP:CON. - SUN EYE 1 10:39, 29 October 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback. Also now one of the extended approved users has removed two sections completely from Rudra Thandavam page. It doesn't appear constructive. Can you restore the page to the previous version and ask them to clarify on talk page if they still have objection? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2409:4040:E8D:D002:1458:11F6:E1DE:F689 (talk) 12:28, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
