Peter and Paul Cathedral (Gomel) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Peter and Paul Cathedral (Gomel), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 14:30, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Kate Isaacs.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Kate Isaacs.jpg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Whpq (talk) 14:12, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Two issues with the File:Kate Isaacs.jpg image: 1. Proof of permission is compulsory. See donating copyrighted materials for guidance. 2. If BBC created the image, BBC likely holds the copyright, and a grant from Kate Isaacs would not be good enough. Wikipedia needs proof of ownership and permission from the verified owner. • Gene93k (talk) 18:34, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, StupidPingvin. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Kate Isaacs, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

In the uploaded File:Kate Isaacs.jpg, you state "I personally work for the owner" under licensing. If you are employed by Kate Isaacs or NotYourPorn, you must disclose that on your user page at the very minimum. Paid editing is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid editing violates Wikipedia's terms of service. Please see WP:NOPAY. • Gene93k (talk) 18:43, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for helping to comply with the rules of Wikipedia. Often paid editing is a good way to avoid conflicts of interest and allows the editor to write an unbiased article about a subject or person. Please note that I indicated on my discussion page about this on November 11th. Thanks again for reminding me of the community rules. StupidPingvin (talk) 20:11, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Neither this talk page nor your live edits indicate a clear declaration by you anywhere. Your statement about paid editing turns Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy on it's head. Your contributions regarding Kate Isaacs and NotYourPorn are an obvious conflict of interest and also look promotional. If you are paid to edit these articles, you must clearly declare that. See WP:COIPAYDISCLOSE. • Gene93k (talk) 08:00, 23 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I just reverted your latest edit to NotYourPorn, that removed the maintenance tags. The flagged references are unacceptable. See WP:METRO and WP:CIRCULAR. Given your declared connection to the subject's founder, it is best for you to leave maintaining NotYourPorn and Kate Isaacs to other editors. • Gene93k (talk) 07:14, 23 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Balbasava moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Balbasava, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask on my talk page. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Or feel free to ping me to take another look.Onel5969 TT me 13:43, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Kate Isaacs edit

The article Kate Isaacs has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

BLP lacks in-depth coverage to meet WP:NBIO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Orphaned non-free image File:Notyorporn logo.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Notyorporn logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:18, 31 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
