...and if you *do* find a better way of merging Sex and intelligence, please share it with the rest of us. ;-) István (talk) 02:57, 20 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ha! I like that! :P Sadly, dear István, the two are like a magnet—a magnet with two identical poles, that is; they are insoluable in each other. ;) —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  05:22 21 December, 2007 (UTC)

I just screwed up the tags on 29GB of music. Restoring backup now, but still, stupid thing to do :/ Will (talk) 03:06, 20 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

By the way, discounting bots and Sharon herself, you've got the highest number of edits on her talk. Will (talk) 16:06, 20 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

But I can't dance, and and I can't talk, the only thing about me is the way that I walk. (Sorry for the Genesis lyric; btw, I'm #2 on Ayelie's, three edits behind Randfan. Originally, that was going to be the dance lyric, for sheer irony). Will (talk) 02:29, 22 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Holidays

edit

Hey, merry Christmas too! That was uncanny timing: three out of the four for sure, and the fourth just came back in the room with a fresh bottle of Bailey's. Having a good family time, but everyone has a laptop. Wireless is the end of us all. :) Hope you are well and best wishes for the new year! Antandrus (talk) 05:14, 25 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey hon, happy holidays to you too. All the best for the new year, and hope you and yours are safe, happy and well! Love, ~ Riana 05:17, 25 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nothing fancy this year from me either - I've spent the whole day tinkering with my iPod and waiting for Doctor Who :) Will (talk) 11:37, 25 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Cliff. Do you have any idea what happened to Phaedriel? She hasn't edit for months now. King Lopez Contribs 10:09, 28 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Latest survey says extended Wikibreak, though I would also love it if she came back. Fredil 04:05, 30 December 2007 (UTC) P.S. Thanks for the Christmas card, Spring... you're the only one that can give me one at six minutes past midnight :PReply
It was late for most people; I did it from about a quarter to eight that night until a few minutes after nine. :) —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  04:07 30 December, 2007 (UTC)
You know, you could've posted them at 2am your time and you'd be sure to hit Christmas Day everywhere. Now, to get some sleep after playing Portal for two hours... (P.S. I miss Sharon too :( )Will (talk) 04:46, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merry Xmas!

Thanks for the season greetings Springy! Happy New Year back at you... Hey, have you thoguht of becoming an admin yet? If you have, I bags nom! :) Cheers, Spawn Man (talk) 03:45, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey, you know, I have the numbers (remember I think about a year ago I said I wanted 1000 mainspace edits before I was comfortable accepting a nomination) and I'm ready, but I don't feel right in the idea of nominating myself. And happy New Year to you too. :) —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  04:22 31 December, 2007 (UTC)
Hmmm is this code for "Can you nom?" because if it is, I will... :) Spawn Man (talk) 07:57, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Merry Christmas-Hannukah-Kwaanza to you-you-you, as well

edit

Thanks very much for the Christmas message. Hope you are well and had a good one yourself. My apologies not just for responding belatedly but also for ticking you off, exasperating you or driving you to potentially commit homicide last year over the Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky article-peer review-mess-whatever. I have the impression that I alienated a lot of people and realize you were only trying to help, and I hate to have lost any potential friends over that time. Jonyungk (talk) 19:00, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Trust me, the homicide would have been the other two of Cesar Cui's triplet brothers who rose up out of their graves to haunt the peer review. :P It wasn't anything against you. :) —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  05:46 3 January, 2008 (UTC)
Thanks very much for the encouragement. At least the article is looking better&em&at least now that I can look at it again. (-: Jonyungk (talk) 16:18, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Adminship:

edit

Hey there! I really was going to nom you for adminship, but I'm very sorry that I can't at the moment - I looked at everything through edit counts to your contributions etc and although I know you'd be up for the task, you'd get several opposes straight off for obvious stuff. If you'd accept my advice, I'll give you a few areas which need improvement before I can nom you, knowing it'll pass without a hitch.

Firstly, I checked your edit count and over half were to user talk pages, a large amount to your user pages and only 300-odd in the wikipedia namespace - I'd suggest doing some more wikipedia namespace work, some more article work and far less chat/user page stuff.

Secondly, I went through your last 1000 edits and there was no XfD work or adminy-stuff - people could oppose for the fact you may not need the tools or are inexperienced. In addition to that, (I may be wrong...?) you have no FA's, GA's, or featured content as of yet - getting one is never a bad thing.

All you need to do is some minor improvements for about a month (Definitely XfDs if you ever want to be an admin) and the rest I can fix with a kick-arse nomination write up. If this isn't that big of a deal to you, then we can let it pass over, but from personal experience, that's what will need to be done in order to pass easily. Cheers, Spawn Man (talk) 08:17, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

XfD…duh! I knew I was forgetting something. Let's check base again near Valentine's Day, OK? —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  04:52 4 January, 2008 (UTC)
Good, I'm glad you're taking my advice because I think you'll make a great admin. Why Valentine's day eh? Looking for a little love are we? ;) Cheers, Spawn Man Review Me! 06:34, 4 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
WikiLove, perhaps, plus it's a personal anniversary. —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  05:46 5 January, 2008 (UTC)

Merry (Belated) Christmas and Happy New Year

Thank you for the kind words, and I echo them to you: I hope the Christmas season and the New year find you in good health and happiness. (Just FYI, I'm Jewish :-) - not that I don't appreciate holiday messages, just letting you know) --tennisman 16:08, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi Spring, thanks for the Christmas/birthday/New Year's greetings! I know I'm late and I'm trying to catch up with everything, but I hope your holidays went well and that this year is better than last for you! --Kyoko 17:14, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rollback

edit

Hello Springeragh, I've granted rollback rights to your account. The reason for this is that, after a review of some of your contributions, I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended use of reverting vandalism: I do not believe you will abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck. Hey you! I just wanted to say many thanks for the message when I was gone, and send some *hugs* and hope to see you a bit more (though I see you're busy too - but sometimes is better than never). I've missed you too, tons! And I tried to do what you said, but it happened again! I swear illness is out to get me :P -- Editor at Largetalk 11:18, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Maybe if you determine that you won't let the sickness make you feel like you're sick—maybe you can trick it into thinking that you're tough stuff…;) —  $PЯINGεrαgђ  05:44 31 January, 2008 (UTC)
Argh, I thought I replied already - I know I had something written up, but I suppose it was one of those cases where I didn't click "save page" :P
At any rate.. I did try! I have been trying! It works to a certain extent to be sure, and does help. I get on my laptop from bed and work feverishly at things and say "haha, I am working hard as if I am not sick! So there." and it curls up sullenly for an hour or two and leaves me alone ;)
More hugs, and hope everything is well with you! -- Editor at Largetalk 07:45, 4 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm using my userpage as a memorial for one day (Thursday). Gleaned from here, and I checked before using their names.
