Hello, I'm Loriendrew. I noticed that you recently removed some content from 1998 without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 12:25, 22 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1998, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lauren Taylor. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Jorrit Croon

edit

The article Jorrit Croon has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Proposed deletion of Lazar Carevic

edit

The article Lazar Carevic has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Club infobox dates

edit

Hi, when updating club infobox stats you should update the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Robby.is.on (talk) 11:47, 14 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Transfermarkt

edit

Since most of its content is user-generated, Transfermarkt is not a reliable source. Please do not cite the website in articles, as you did with Iceland national under-19 football team. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 16:30, 29 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm John "Hannibal" Smith. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 1996, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Deon Cain

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Deon Cain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Blocked for sockpuppetry

edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

SportEdit23 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I just discovered my account was blocked because of sock puppetry, i only have 1 wikipedia account and after reading the case, i saw another account with the same name as mine edited the same article, when i was editing that page it was because C. J. Spiller got signed by a new club, but i thought his name was deleted off the list, this was not the case, after i saw his name on the list i deleted my own edit because i made a mistake, after that, another account did the exact same thing, i don't know why. I understand it's illegal to have 2 accounts, but what happened to me was a total coincedence. I understand this seems very weird but this really was a total coincedence.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. No admin has found this convincing in more than a month. You are welcome to request another unblock review. Yamla (talk) 13:16, 26 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This blocked user is asking that his block be reviewed on the Unblock Ticket Request System:

@Bbb23: I obviously don't have access to the CheckUser evidence, but the behavioural evidence seems very weak to me. In particular, I see no evidence that the accounts have edited in a disruptive fashion or supported each other during disputes. Thus I'd be willing to unblock if this were not a CheckUser block. Thoughts? Huon (talk) 21:09, 16 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Huon: I think the SPI does a reasonably good job explaining how this person has been editing disruptively with more than one account.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:22, 16 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
