Hi @Spintendo,
As mentioned in the prior reply above, I’ve confirmed on Bryan Fogel’s Talk page regarding your recommendation for another editor to review our current discussion for the proposed changes found here. Talk:Bryan Fogel#c-Jeremycohen333-20231129181000-Spintendo-20231106230900
Please do let me know if we can proceed as you suggested, as you were to prepare on the talk page the proper steps to submit.
It appears you’ve been quite busy and I’ve been standing by for some time now.
If you can advise on alternative steps I can take personally to get this proposal in front of another editor to review that would be helpful I’d like to finalize this section please and thank you in advance for your reply. Best, Jeremycohen333 (talk) 02:31, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Reply 18-Jan-2024 edit

Hey Spintendo, I've posted a follow up under the Talk page topic for "Icarus" here: Talk:Bryan Fogel#c-Jeremycohen333-20240118214600-Jeremycohen333-20231227064300 so you will be able to see my response to the proposal for the 3rd party editor to review. Many thanks in advance when you have some time to review and to help facilitate the editor's review, and I'll help finalize immediately to help close out this edit request. Thank you so much! Jeremycohen333 (talk) 21:54, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi Spintendo, I’m reviewing my proposed revisions to the content for the 3rd party editor. Perhaps I can supply you with the actual content in the preferred order of appearance with the references so it’s clear as to the changes from Fogel’s current article under “Icarus”, therefore you would be more streamlined to be submitted for their assessment of proposed changes? LMK thank you. Jeremycohen333 (talk) 18:11, 29 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Amendment to Quarter Pounder Page edit

Hi, I believe you had trouble accessing the URL I had provided on 9 November in my edit request so I replied to you on the page on 30 November with a new URL and I wondered if you have had chance to review it yet please?

I would be grateful if you can delete: "Quarter Pounder" is a trademark in the United States, but restaurants in other countries have been able to use similar names for their own products, such as the British Wimpy chain's "Quarterpounder."

This is factually incorrect as no other restaurants have been permitted to use Quarter Pounder; any use by British Wimpy is unauthorised. Further, Quarter Pounder is not just registered in the US, it's very widely registered, in 61 countries, so the statement "Quarter Pounder" is a trademark in the United States" is misleading to readers as they may think it is only a US mark.

Many thanks IntangibleAssetEnthusiast (talk) 13:52, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

@IntangibleAssetEnthusiast Thank you IntangibleAssetEnthusiast for contacting me about this, it's much appreciated. If you could tell me again which article this is regarding, I would be happy to take a look at it. Regards,  Spintendo  20:47, 15 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

BPP University edit

Hi Spintendo, thank you for your ongoing contributions and management of the BPP University page. I wanted to reach out as it feels as though the page is missing some information typical of most academic institutions on Wikipedia pages, namely the academic profile section. I wondered if you would be open to reviewing some suggestions that I proposed last month? Would you agree that this is appropriate information to include on a page of this nature? See the edit request and my message to you in our conversation on the talkpage here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:BPP_University#Edit_request_/_BPP_University_Courses

Thank you for your support in advance. Deputy Dean at BPP (talk) 17:24, 26 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Lubos Pastor Edit Request edit

Hello Spintendo, I hope you are well! I am following up on a COI edit request that I previously submitted on behalf of Lubos Pastor for his page. You asked me to reformat the citations in the initial edit request to adhere to CS1. I believe the edit request is now correctly formatted, and would appreciate your review of the proposed changes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Lubos_Pastor#COI_Edit_Request_Reformatted

Follow up on proposed edits to Bryan Fogel “Icarus” edit

Hi Spintendo,

I hope this finds you well.

I would like to help assist in anyway regarding the actions required in the last correspondence we had for the proposed COI edits for the “Career” section for the documentary “Icarus”.

You can review my latest comments and content reformatted to submit for the additional editor’s review found here in our last thread in this subject.

Thank you in advance for reconnecting on Fogel’s Talk page topic, and please do let me know how I can help facilitate these proposed edits.

All the best,

Request for Response on Proposed Changes 30-MAR-2024 edit

Hello Spintendo,

Can we please continue this conversation on Bryan Fogel's article? I've provided replies and attempts to address the proposed additions for his career section for the film Icarus. I've left replies on prior topic as well that have been unanswered.

Thank you. Jeremycohen333 (talk) 15:42, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

09-APRIL-2024 - Following Up on Proposed Changes edit

Hi Spintendo,

Reaching out again as I'm at a loss and have been patiently awaiting for you to respond. I've posted an update review/request on both Bryan Fogel's Talk page and your Talk page and have not received a response since your last which is linked here Reply 26-DEC-2023. Please advise where I can go, who I may initiate the Talk page discussion with (as you had previously advised), and move forward from this point to allow me to proceed to request to implement the revisions and additions to his article section for Icarus.

Best Regards, Jeremycohen333 (talk) 06:01, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Quarter Pounder: Reply to my edit request edit

Hi Spintendo,

I haven't heard back from you since 12 January. Please can you review my response and revert this week? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Quarter_Pounder

As a reminder, I am requesting that you please delete: "Quarter Pounder" is a trademark in the United States, but restaurants in other countries have been able to use similar names for their own products, such as the British Wimpy chain's "Quarterpounder."

As explained in detail in my reply, the old NZ Wimpy mark you cited was in one territory only, dating back over 20 years, and was abandoned/cancelled, most likely because they were not able to keep it owing to McDonald’s prior use and rights. McDonald’s are and have been the registered owner of Quarter Pounder in New Zealand for 24 years, as well as elsewhere across the globe (62 countries worldwide). So only referring to their mark in the US may be misleading and no other restaurant (including Wimpy) has been authorised to use its mark.

COI assistance edit

Hello Spintendo, You are clearly an excellent reviewer of coi edit requests, and a very busy person. I am new here, tasked with requesting coi edits for my employer OutTV (Canadian TV channel). If you or another Wikipedia editor you could recommend has time to help me out or just take at look at what I'm doing so I don't get slapped by a trout (or worse) I would appreciate it. Any and all assistance welcome. Thank you! Talk:OutTV (Canadian TV channel), Oshentree (talk) 21:37, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Interview request edit

Hi Spintendo -- I am Noam Cohen, a journalist who writes frequently about Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noam_Cohen.

I'm working on a piece about how Wikipedia deals with COI editing, particularly related to business figures in the news, like Bill Ackman, Ken Griffin and Evan Greenberg. I think the public would be interested to learn how carefully they watch their articles and the resources they deploy to shape what is written about them. I can see that you care deeply about these issues and frequently engage with editors who have a COI.

Would you mind being interviewed about what you have seen in this role and how you think Wikipedia has been doing in covering business, generally? A frequent theme of my writing is that Wikipedia has become the universally recognized source of truth online ... I want to write about how the project lives up (or down) to that awesome responsibility.

My email is noamstuart at gmail.com

Looking forward to connecting,
