October 2018 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Dino Dan. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. RA0808 talkcontribs 16:14, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Rated A for Awesome. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. RA0808 talkcontribs 16:23, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Pirates: Adventures in Art. Aspening (talk) 16:28, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- ferret (talk) 20:18, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I'm new to editing pages on wikipedia. My only intention was to add my name to various television series that I've worked on. There is no advertising or spam on my behalf. I may have made some errors along the way but I meant no malice. I will brush up on the rules and take more precaution in the future

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you at this time. Adding your name to articles is self promotion-- self aggrandisement. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not IMDB. Perhaps that would be a better place to promote yourself. I see you are associated with a company with a name similar to your user ID. As your edits have been self promotional anyway, please read and heed WP:COI. If adding your name to articles is your only purpose in editing Wikipedia, there is no point in unblocking you. I saw no source cited in your edits. All content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking. If you can provide a reliable source to support your content additions, you may request the content be added on the article talk page. Otherwise, please tell us what constructive, not self aggrandizing edits you might make.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 03:59, 3 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
