Speedy deletion nomination of Michał Józefczyk edit

A tag has been placed on Michał Józefczyk requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 Crash edit

Thank you for your contributions to this article. However, a debate is ongoing regarding the reactions section and editors have been cautioned not to edit the section until the debate closes. You are welcome to collect information and edit other sections, but please wait until the debate is completed before editing the reactions.

If you are looking for something specific to edit, the article hasn't had an update of official announcements in several days. If you can find any announcements from the Polish or Russian authorities regarding the accident it would be very much appreciated. Thank you. --N419BH (talk) 11:54, 23 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate reversion edit

Re: This reversion. If you want to rewrite the section so that it reads like an encyclopedia article, feel free. Do not restore this level of fan-babble to the article: it fails WP:NPOV at the very least, and I could probably find a dozen more policies and guidelines it doesn't conform to. Also, don't revert edits without edit summaries: doing so portrays the edit being reverted as vandalism. I'm an admin, not a vandal.—Kww(talk) 23:14, 11 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Repost of Category:Deaths by age edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Deaths by age requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this:   which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit [[Talk:Category:Deaths by age|the article's discussion directly]] to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Article titles - make them findable edit

Hallo, While stub-sorting I came across several stubs you had created such as Sielec, Tarnobrzeg. A couple of points.

First, please be sure to identify the geographic context in the opening sentence - I've now done so for four of the stubs you've started, including this one.

Second, please remember that if you create an article with a disambiguated title, you need to ensure that it can be found by someone typing, in this case, "Sielec". I've added this article to the disambiguation page at Sielec, done similarly at Zakrzów, added a hatnote at Sobów and moved Nagnajów to the base name as it is unique and doesn't need to be differentiated (there were already two incoming links to that name). When creating any more articles, please remember to make them easily found. Thanks. PamD 09:29, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages edit

Thank you for your recent articles, including History of Tarnobrzeg. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. This can help you too, as the WikiProject members will often defend your work from deletion and try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information. October 2013 edit

Your recent editing history at 2013_MTV_Europe_Music_Awards shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. My Słowianie edit

I undid your edits at Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and Template:Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest where you changed the title of the Polish song from "My Słowianie - We Are Slavic" to "Slavic Girls". Both of those pages and others related to the contest list the title of the song as it appears in the contest. It will appear as "My Słowianie - We Are Slavic" based on contest sources such as this one: [1]. Pickette (talk) 13:49, 30 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm aware that is the title of the song in English, however, the Polish team at Eurovision has opted to go with a different title for the contest. VMA Best Dance Video edit

The fact that all the nominees were pop songs that were dancey (because they weren't EDM like MTV has nominated recently in 2012 and 2014) isn't enough proof that the category for Best Song of the Summer was at all related to the Best Dance Video award. Proposed deletion of Łukasz Żal edit

The article Łukasz Żal has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Proposed deletion of European Film Award for Best Supporting Actor edit

The article European Film Award for Best Supporting Actor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (awards) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you,

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of List of most viewed English language videos edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of most viewed English language videos requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Dividing "Most Viewed Videos" by Language is not very helpful edit

I have undid your edits regarding your new articles. I do not believe that the simple list of the most viewed YouTube videos should be sperated into multiple languages. Drive-by speedy tagging edit

Please stop drive-by tagging articles such as List of most viewed YouTube videos and List of most viewed online videos in first 24 hours under WP:CSD#A7 when they obviously have a credible claim of significance. Do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point just because your articles on separate-language versions of the articles were tagged for speedy deletion. You have not demonstrated significant news coverage about the most viewed videos in specific languages. You should know better than this as you have been here since 2009. nyuszika7h (talk) 15:31, 11 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at MTV Europe Music Award. Please stop removing tables and reliable sourced content formatted according to WP:MOS. Your edits fail WP:V and MOS:TABLE, do not add winners and unsourced content in tables since they are already listed and reliably sourced in their respective pages.--Earthh (talk) 12:25, 26 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Do not "fix" something that doesn't need to be fixed and was just fine for years; do not add flags, pointless maps, unreadable tables, and trivial content; do not repeat content pertaining to other articles; do not remove reliable sources for unreliable ones (sources like IMDb and Daily Mail should be avoided). Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Bergman - A Year in a Life moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Bergman - A Year in a Life, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. File:Of Fathers and Sons.jpg edit

A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. World Youth Day 2022 moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, World Youth Day 2022, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. Orphaned non-free image File:Turin bid for the 2006 Winter Olympics poster.gif edit

Thanks for uploading File:Turin bid for the 2006 Winter Olympics poster.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Pbroks13 (talk) 00:16, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

March 2019 edit

Hi Spacejam2 I reverted your edit to Eurovision Song Contest 2019 because there is currently a consensus to place "Polish music video controversy" information with the articles Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 and Pali się since it has not attracted international controversy to warrent inclusion in the main Eurovision article. If you feel that this should be included in Eurovision Song Contest 2019 please discuss this on the talk page with your reasoning why. If you continue to revert the established consenus this could be seen as disruptive editing and go against WP:3RR and lead to loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:2022 in Christianity edit

A tag has been placed on Category:2022 in Christianity requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read!
