Help me! edit

Please help me with...

ClueBot is automatically marking all of my edits as being vandalism and reverting them. I don't know why, maybe it's because I have the same IP address as that Glorious Japan Forever character. I have made minor edits to pages on BBC Sherlock's The Hounds of Baskerville and The Blind Banker to clarify plot points that the previous version of the article was misleading about. I also made some grammatical edits on articles about the song "Rule, Britannia" and the Kingdom of Great Britain in the Seven Years' War. In addition, I updated the "Yasukuni Shrine" section of the article on Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. ClueBot says that if I edit again, I'll be blocked. Please, please, can you help me, because I don't want to be blocked for making constructive contributions! Sir Mycroft Holmes (talk) 00:11, 14 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm not quite sure why the bot thinks your edits are vandalism. It's not marking all of them, only three, but three false positives still is rather bizarre. What could help is citing sources for your edits; particularly content in biographical articles (such as Shinzo Abe) should always cite a reliable source. Your comment about having the same IP address as "that Glorious Japan Forever character", however, is very interesting. How do you know that? How did you even encounter User:Glorious Japan Forever, who made a single edit to the talk page of an editor with whom this account did not interact, whose edit was reverted one minute later, and who signed that edit as "(a.k.a. Mycroft Holmes)"? That's quite a remarkable coincidence, don't you think? Huon (talk) 01:01, 14 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

When my IP address was auto blocked, last week, it said that part of the reason for the block was that Glorious Japan Forever had been using that address and had been banned for edit warring or something of the like. And if you're accusing me of sock puppetry, just stop it. False accusations make me very uncomfortable and I may have to sic my brother Sherlock on you. :)

Seriously, though. If G.J.F. (Glorious Japan Forever) likes Sherlock, well, I don't give a f---. I have the right to like the same TV shows as some vandal hooligan. I am seriously offended, Huon, by your accusations and if you accuse me of being a sock puppet again (I simply detest people who break rules, especially simple rules like "no vandalism on Wikipedia") I shall consider it to be a PERSONAL ATTACK. Thank you.

Please be a little more patient. I was busy with other issues (such as "sleeping") over the past few hours. Also, you may want to take a look at WP:DUCK. That the vandal hooligan not only likes the same TV shows as you, but even shares your IP address, signs with your chosen nickname and also shares your enthusiasm for Japan seems a little much for mere coincidence. See WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Glorious Japan Forever. Huon (talk) 12:23, 14 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I am not a sock puppet of Glorious Japan Forever, I had never even heard of this guy until Wednesday when I tried to make an edit (I was just an IP back then) and found that I had been auto blocked. I promptly went and appealed the block, rightly so, to administrator "King of Hearts." After I was accused of sock puppetry by User:Huon last night, I went into Glorious Japan Forever's edit history and was frankly appalled to find that he had used my name. I mean, really freaked out. I even sent an angry message to his talk page. If someone could unblock me and give me a rational explanation of what's been going on that would do me a super solid!
