No content in Category:Devotees of Lord Jagannath
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Devotees of Lord Jagannath, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Devotees of Lord Jagannath has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Devotees of Lord Jagannath, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Snana Yatra
It is unclear what Snana Yatra is. At best, after reading the entire article, I gather that it is a festival. It's unclear when the festival is (dates), why it exists, and what its name is. The "lead" of the article right now only has a reference to the "Bathing Festival". I guess that's what Snana Yatra says, but it doesn't say that.
To fix it, you need to have Snana Yatra in bold in the first sentence, explaining what it is. The best way is to write it as though you were new to the topic, with no idea, or context, for anything on it.Shadowjams (talk) 09:00, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
- I have rewritten the lead of the article. I do not know much about the topic and I would appreciate your review of the changes, to see if they are accurate. Thanks. Shadowjams (talk) 21:53, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
Temple category
I reverted some unconstructive additions by an IP. By doing so I also removed your changes to the category. I should have re-inserted them. I.e. I was reverting not you, but an IP, and yoou just happened to be in the middle. Sorry about that. Renata (talk) 14:39, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Temple Templates
Excellent work on the templates for mandirs outside of India. I made minor edits to each of these templates according to the format that templates should have. Again, great work! World (talk • contributions) 21:18, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
on second look, I think you deserve this
The Original Barnstar | ||
For the repetitive task of creating templates for Hindu temples by country, I award you this barnstar World (talk • contributions) 21:33, 6 April 2009 (UTC) |
No problem, I removed the pictures, because you were kind of over doing it. Good effort, however, the om symbol was some what irrelevant to temples. Also the other pictures may bring up issues. For example, pictures are generally supposed to show a general style, not specific things (in this case specific temples). I made a ton of edits to make sure that the templates wouldn't be deleted. I really like the idea and effort World (talk • contributions) 17:25, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
- still there should be a common picture on all of the templates if you want one. I would be easier to have no image. I suggest looking at other templates. Most dont have any pictures, unless it deals with a specific person or organizaton World (talk • contributions) 16:42, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest
Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.
As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.
If you are new to assessment, you can learn the minimum about how to evaluate from Part One of the Assessment Guide. Part Two of the Guide will help you learn to employ the full functionality of the talk page template, should you choose to do so.
You can sign up on the Tag & Assess page. There are a number of awards to be given in recognition of your efforts. Come & join us to take part in this exciting new venture. You'll learn more about India in this way.

Sugandha Shaktipeeth importance!
Is really Sugandha Shaktipeeth a high importance article? --Tito Dutta Message 08:40, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
It is one of the 52 Shaktipeeths well documented in relevant literature . Hence in my humble opinion it would be of high importance in keeping with similair importance given to other shaktipeeths. (sids 07:54, 21 April 2012 (UTC)).
