Speedy deletion nomination of Stallions Cricket Team edit

A tag has been placed on Stallions Cricket Team requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. katherine_a (talk) 16:05, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

July 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Stallions Cricket Team, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. katherine_a (talk) 16:18, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Stallions Cricket Team. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. katherine_a (talk) 17:09, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to Stallions Cricket Team. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Bart133 t c @ 17:24, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Josh McEachran.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Josh McEachran.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

September 2010 edit

Please do not continue to upload files missing information on their copyright status, as you did with File:Josh McEachran.jpg. Note that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and that the copyright status of all media files uploaded to Wikipedia must be verifiable by others. If you are unsure of the correct copyright template, please refer to the list of image copyright tags. If you would like to experiment with uploading files, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. File copyright problem with File:Patrick van Aanholt.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Patrick van Aanholt.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster (talk) 00:10, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Gael Kakuta.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Gael Kakuta.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:23, 16 September 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 00:23, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Pen Miss edit

Could you please provide a valid reason as to why the penalty miss by Varney (and by Lampard in the Rangers game) is not notable? Avenue X at Cicero (talk) 16:13, 6 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Check out all the other game reports a pen miss is not listed. You can check out as many reports as you want. A pen miss is only noted when there is a penalty-shootout. I hope it gives your answer. Plz check out other different football club pages for more info. Thank you.--Shihan07 (talk) 16:20, 6 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for August 21 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chelsea F.C. Reserves and Academy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joao Rodríguez. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

September 2014 edit

Hello, I'm Richard Hongyi Yin. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Chelsea F.C. without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!--Richard Yin (talk) 21:12, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Incidentally, I definitely didn't add a more severe warning earlier. Ignore the page history, it didn't happen! --Richard Yin (talk) 21:31, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Richard Yin :) It happened by mistake. I am glad that you corrected it.--Shihan07 (talk) 21:38, 4 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
