Some misunderstandings.

Scientific career

Meitner volunteered as an X-ray nurse in 1915, but returned to Berlin in 1916. It was only Hahn who was on leave. Meitner did all the work. She was nominated for the Nobel prize in 1924 and 1925. Hahn and Meitner worked in the same building, but on different floors, where they headed different departments. They corresponded by mail only after Meitner left Germany in 1938.

Nobel Prize for Nuclear Fission

This is contentious. Hahn met with Bohr and Meitner in Copenhagen in 1938. Strassmann did not know about this meeting and thought Hahn was reacting to another letter from Meitner. Hahn later said that if Meitner was still in Berlin she might have rejected the idea of nuclear disintegration, but her letters show that she was coming around to it.
