Peer Review

Overall I would say that the article is partially complete as it is well written but could use a few changes to enhance and better complete it. The article very clearly covers an important topic in regards to a historically underrepresented population and is very detailed and provides a lot of new and valuable information! The article also does a good job at staying neutral and consistently expressing facts rather than trying to persuade the readers in a certain way. The use of images and the layout of them also nicely complemented the article! One way the article could be improved is by including more information about gender inequality issues in Nigeria. The article currently does a detailed discussion of the history of Nigeria and feminist movements but there is little information about how gender inequality currently exists in Nigeria such as whether it is present in education, politics, healthcare, the workplace, etc.. Another imporvememt that could be made is in the sources. The article uses multiple good sources however many of the facts presented in the article are not backed up by a source and should be cited by a reliable source. Also, the link to the British Vogue source does not work. Overall I would say the article is well-developed as it is nicely outlined and well-written and with the addition of some more ways gender inequality is prevalent in Nigeria as well as citing more sources throughout the article it can become even more developed. Hi Sferguson. I see that you have twice submitted Draft:Gender inequality in Nigeria. Because the article for Gender inequality in Nigeria already exists you will need to directly edit that article in order to update it. I would suggest merging (copying/pasting) your content into the current article while retaining the current sections on feminism in Nigeria.
