editThis article is headed in a good direction. Your lead section provides a clear, concise summary of the topic at large and the more detailed sections you continue to develop. The original article has a good structure that you have effectively used to improve the content. There is considerable improvement between the sections that you have worked on and those in the original article. I like how you changed the organization by eliminating some subsections because it makes the article flow better. A strength in your article is that most of your sources deal with numbers and concrete data. Moreover, your writing style is very clear and effective in communicating the data. You assume a very neutral tone that does not favor any opinion. It would be nice to complement these sources with some more qualitative articles and images as you continue working on your final draft. You could include some more peer-reviewed articles in your sources as well. This article is very well-developed. There is a good amount of details for each section and you can definitely continue expanding into other areas that have gender gaps. I’m excited to see your final product!
