Hello, SenchaDragon! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. You may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Click here for a directory of all the WikiProjects. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field when making edits to pages. Happy editing! File permission problem with File:Yale Art + Architecture Building, New Haven CT, Window Replacement 2007.jpgedit

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 01:01, 4 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
An email containing details of the permission for this file has been sent in accordance with WP:OTRS. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. --SenchaDragon (talk) 13:30, 4 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Articles related to architecture over the past two weeks are listed automatically by AlexNewArtBot.

This template will be updated regularly. If you would rather not receive this bulletin, just delete it from your talk page.
Hello and welcome to the WikiProject Architecture - here's the bulletin - if you don't like it just delete it from your talk page, otherwise, it automatically updates. Please give me or one of the other project members a shout if you need any help. Kind regards ELEKHHT 04:24, 4 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on File:Yale Art and Architecture Restoration.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Stefan2 (talk) 19:29, 13 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the 'Barnstar' too, unexpected but much appreciated. I've just noticed I already left a lenghty comment on the article's Talk page. My how quickly time has passed :) Sionk (talk) 19:13, 30 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

As someone who is listed as a participant for WikiProject Poetry, I hope you will be interested to learn of an attempt to revive the WP and alongside this the creation of task force to improve coverage of The Canterbury Tales. We are currently looking for participants to help set up the basics. Please get involved if you can, and we can hopefully revive this important project within Wikipedia! Many thanks, MasterOfHisOwnDomain (talk) 18:37, 14 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hey, MasterOfHisOwnDomain--Not my area of expertise, as I've only studied the Tales at a rudimentary level, but I will take a look at the page and see what I might be able to contribute. Thanks for letting me know! --SenchaDragon (talk) 15:29, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Okay, thank you. At the moment we're just looking for consensus on the article content etc., so any opinion, expert or otherwise, is much appreciated. MasterOfHisOwnDomain (talk) 17:18, 18 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
