Palace article edit

I marked the article as patrolled, but noticed that the "Gardens" section appears elsewhere on the internet. Did you copy it from our article on Corfu, or from a third-party website? If the former, please mention that on the talkpage; if the latter, please remove it. –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 20:27, 24 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I borrowed it from your section on Corfu –Ipflo (talkcontribs) 2400, 24 December 2011
OK, when you do that please attribute it to the article where you got it, either in an edit summary (in future) or on the talkpage (probably the best solution now), since someone else wrote it. –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 03:07, 25 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
FWIW, I created the Palaia Anaktora and Gardens section in the Corfu article back in 2006. Since then other people have copy-edited it and added to it, including myself. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 20:58, 30 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sher Garhi Palace, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ananta (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Proposed deletion of Ka La Qin Palace edit

Hello, Ipflo. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Ka La Qin Palace, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Rantalinna Manor moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Rantalinna Manor, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Destroyed landmarks in Belgium edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Destroyed landmarks in Belgium requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. Ways to improve Sławięcice Palace (Schloss Slawentzitz) edit

Hello, Ipflo,

Thank you for creating Sławięcice Palace (Schloss Slawentzitz).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thanks for creating the article. To add to what another new page reviewer has already mentioned about attribution, please note that the article requires inline citations WP:CITE; they're missing except for a single footnote. Also, the article would benefit from sources in Polish, some of which can be translated automatically like https://kedzierzynkozle.naszemiasto.pl/palac-w-slawiecicach-i-jego-wojenna-historia-mial-45-pokoi/ar/c15-8433385 published in a regional edition of a popular Polish news outlet. It talks, among other things, about the palace being a location of a German unit in 1939 that was supposed to engage in false flag operation to help facilitate the Nazi attack. Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Thanks for your reply - Correct, I am relatively new - If I understand correctly, I may remove the maintenance template when providing a reason: citations and sources added to support statements on the page (as there were no citations). Further not clear why the neutrality was disputed, not explained nor clear from the text. Ipflo (talk) 18:11, 30 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Ipflo. I noticed that your recent edit to Casa Nouă added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request that someone else upload it. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. hi Sumanuil - thanks - had the impression that it was working - fully understand what you are saying - the image should be on Wikipedia as it is presented on the Romanian page ( https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casa_Nou%C4%83 / https://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casa_Nou%C4%83#/media/Fi%C8%99ier:Casa_Nou%C4%83_%C3%AEn_1944.jpg ) - but do not understand why the link is not working Ipflo (talk) 06:07, 1 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

It may have only been uploaded locally on Romanian Wikipedia. In that case, you'd have to transfer it to Wikimedia Commons, provided it meets their copyright requirements, which are stricter than regular Wikipedia. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 06:39, 1 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
