December 2014 edit

Hello, I'm 220 of Borg. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Narciso Méndez Bringa without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! 220 of Borg 17:53, 25 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Kaluahi edit

Hello Say2rahul2k15,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kaluahi for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Knyzna1 (talk) 20:31, 25 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Knyzna1:As a populated place, Kaluahi is "notable" if it verifiably exists. It is in any case not eligible for nomination for speedy deletion under "A7" as it is not a "real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organized event", and these are the only subjects which can be nominated under this criterion.
But @Sayrahul2k15: You have recently created three stubs, for Kaluahi, Basopatti and Rahika, which are completely unsourced (ie you do not give us any reference to where we can check the existence of these places) and were also completely incorrectly formatted. I have amended these three to make them meet the standards of the encyclopedia in their format, but they still need references. Please do not create any more stub articles without looking more carefully at the standard way to set out an article and following that standard, and adding references. Although "Anyone can edit Wikipedia", we ask "anyone" to take care to maintain the encyclopedia properly, and to learn how to edit. Thanks. PamD 20:44, 25 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Removal of valid maintenance templates edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Gandhwari. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. 220 of Borg 12:21, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Gandhwari. You have removed valid maintenance templates from this page 5 times. You have done similar unhelpful edits at several of the stubby pages you have created. Please desist. 220 of Borg 06:16, 28 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Gandhwari. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block.

You effectively have made 3 reverts on the Gandhwari page within 24 hours 220 of Borg 06:19, 28 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppet investigation edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Say2rahul2k15, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Proposed deletion of Basopatti edit

The article Basopatti has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sources for a decade

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
