If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on MyHighSchoolInternship.Org, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. --George AKA Caliburn · (Talk · Contribs · CentralAuth · Log) 07:36, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Myhighschoolinternship requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 19:28, 28 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I have done nothing for promoting or advertising. Can you please point out or highlight where does my content does that. I have edited it several times just for your satisfaction by removing so much of content even though nothing promotes any individual or service. I can list you several such wikipedia pages in thousand and they are very well active even though I read all these while carefully drafting it such these pages: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fremont_Christian_School or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Students_for_the_Advancement_of_Global_Entrepreneurship Saumesh Sahar (talk) 00:43, 29 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Every single one of your deleted contributions was unambiguously promotional. If you can't see that, I'm afraid you lack the competence we require here at wikipedia. See WP:CIR. Also relevant; WP:OTHERSTUFF. You appear to have mistaken Wikipedia for a business directory. It's not. See WP:YELLOWPAGES. Yamla (talk) 11:46, 29 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Yamla (talk) I am really disappointed to read that you have stated that I lack the competence needed at wikipedia. First of all there is nothing promotional as my posting is intended to provide information about a free massive open online internship academy for high school students as majority of the high school students and parents lacks information regarding the subject of internship for high schoolers. I will not comment about your competence because I can't be insulting you just because you insulted me but you should judge your own competence with by introspecting yourself by comments you make such as this insulting statement and I can assure you if you will come to know about my qualifications in versatile fields then you will regret about this statement. Moreover you should also judge your competence by seeing that you were so blind in insulting me that instead of deleting, you tried to justify blocking me by just giving warning to the webpage I provided as an example like this webpage sitting since 2009 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Students_for_the_Advancement_of_Global_Entrepreneurship) as you merely stated "This article contains content that is written like an advertisement" instead of speedy deletion or blocking that account and also you turned blind eye towards my second example (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fremont_Christian_School) because of your so called competence. You also stated that "Every single one of your deleted contributions was unambiguously promotional." I just made one contribution and I just kept on working towards suggestions given in initial deletions in a good faith and posted the edited content on the same subject though these so called deletion experts were deleting it in their over excitement of being an enthusiastic wikipedia volunteer and there are hundreds of thousands of wikipedia volunteers worldwide and merely 3 or 4 people deleted my webpage. People like you should know what is a promotional activity and what is intended for information and merely in this over excitement you deleted a very important page provide information about massive open online high school internships which are provided for free and on other side you allow millions of such pages which are just existing for their promotional or commercial gains such as this webpage of a totally commercial online dating/matrimonial website - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaadi.com. I will request the wikipedia administrators to please put a curb on these over enthusiastic volunteers who are not only deleting genuine pages created for providing information but also showing inefficiency by allowing webpages created as an advertising tool such as this page of a totally commercial matrimonial/dating website. Do you think wikipedia was created to provide information about profit making dating sites or provide information on subjects such as high school internships or free access to high school internships? If you keep me blocked or delete my genuine postings then I can provide millions of such examples every day and probably on some other better platform to raise issues about wikipedia where I can openly express my views about wikipedia in a more democratic manner as you had blocked my account and taken away my genuine democratic rights.Saumesh Sahar (talk) 02:34, 30 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Just Chilling (talk) 15:41, 30 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

I've fixed your post so it will be visible to the administrators. Please note that Wikipedia is not a Democracy and single users can nominate pages for speedy deletion, and if an administrator agrees the page can be deleted without delay or discussion. As this is a privately owned website you and I have no "rights" to do anything here. Also note that merely providing information is promotion; Wikipedia articles must do more than provide information, they must indicate with independent reliable sources how the subject is notable. Articles must also be written in a neutral point of view. 331dot (talk) 09:07, 30 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
I'll also add that if even in retrospect you cannot see how phrases such as "guaranteed online skill-based career building internship experience", "massive scale", "landing a great job" are promotional, you indeed are unable to edit Wikipedia neutrally - whether that's due to a lack of competence or an overpowering conflict of interest doesn't matter. Huon (talk) 18:31, 30 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Guaranteed online skill based internship on massive scale has not been stated to promote but to provide information on the subject and not to promote this academy which is providing services for free. I'll add that since you possess competence then how can you turn blind eye on millions of wikipedia pages such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaadi.com which are created by profit making entities and openly promoting their commercial activity by using terms such as "marketable," "success" and "world's leading matrimonial website" etc. This web page states "Shaadi.com began as Sagaai.com in 1997. Its founder, Anupam Mittal, changed its name to Shaadi.com in 1999, believing it to be a more marketable name. Its initial success was primarily among non-resident Indians, as Internet adoption across India was poor at the time, and conservative parents were hesitant to arrange marriages through a new startup. Despite some early personnel troubles, Shaadi.com saw success over the next fifteen years as Internet adoption increased and people became more receptive to online matchmaking. By 2008, it had become the world's leading matrimonial website for Asians, and had twenty million users by 2011." No one has mastery in any field but my knowledge and observation about wikipedia pages proves my competency and the block is unnecessary as I did not causes any damage or disruption to Wikipedia since I had made a sincere effort by writing to provide information on a very important subject, and thus block is unnecessary and I will continue to make useful contributions.Saumesh Sahar (talk) 00:00, 31 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

You aren't reading what you are being told. Just providing information is promotion. Also see other stuff exists. 331dot (talk) 00:18, 31 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Exactly, you aren't reading what you are being told and ignoring examples of webpages (provided by me) who are purely meant for promotion of a commercial activity instead of immediately deleting them and accepting the truth that I was wrongly blocked by wikipedia. If just providing information is promotion than every wikipedia page is nothing but just providing information. You all are arguing for the sake of arguing when it is clearly evident that my posting was not promoting any activity or entity or an individual but those millions of webpages which are openly promoting commercial entities and individuals such as wikipedia page of shaadi.com (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaadi.com) are still present on wikipedia even though they openly market themselves by using words such as "marketable" etc and I am sure all these pages will continue to exist.Saumesh Sahar (talk) 06:43, 31 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Examples are irrelevant; each page is judged on its own merits and compatibility with Wikipedia guidelines. As I indicated, Wikipedia pages must do more than provide information, they must indicate with independent reliable sources how the subject is notable, and do so in a neutral point of view. All I know that as long as you don't see that what you did was blatant promotion at least as how Wikipedia defines it, the administrators aren't going to unblock you, and if you keep making unblock requests that get declined, you might lose your ability to edit this page. 331dot (talk) 08:20, 31 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
The Shaadi.com article you cite has several citations to independent reliable sources that indicate how that website is notable(it has gotten several awards and has international reach). 331dot (talk) 08:22, 31 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
