Kanyakubja Brahmins edit

In the article the editor added the Raj Sources which are invalid for castes articles see WP:Raj. And in the section of Social Status op added the content with random source which doesn't mention what he edited/wrote in the article see . He also added Ramanand in notable ones with unreliable sources and also added the Jayadeva which already have birth controversy same goes for Bhanabhatta given source by the editor is this which mention him Brahman of Kannauj/Kanyakubja not a Kanyakubja Brahmin what the op is trying to show. Similalry rest of the people in notable are added with poor sources. So I would say you must check them & also check the version histoy of the page as Sitush removed all these poor sources in previous version but the op re added them. OP is the sock puppet of this and is a SPA. And please also check the Jayadeva article op edited this too which can be reverted only by extented comfirmed users. Hemraj108 I would check those odds. Thanks. Satnam2408 (talk) 14:43, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Just to inform you that this user is likely a sock. So, if proven, their edits may get ban-reverted back to this stable version. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:10, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hey Fylindfotberserk thanks for informing me. Your active role is admirable. Satnam2408 (talk) 16:30, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Most welcome  . - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:58, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thanks , I checked the page & sources. I am writing my point of view may be it can help.
In section social status editor wrote this :
During the Medieval Imperial Era of Kannauj, Kanyakubja Brahmins became the leading Brahmins in all of India, and were subsequently placed at the head of the Brahmin subcastes of North India
which is completely violation of Wikipedia policies & it comes under puffery according to the Wikipedia rules. Also the sources given the editor , after searching the word Kanyakuba word shows 0 results. I think this section is not be present in the article as does not have any source as again the next paragraph see below in italics the editor is doing puffery
In Uttar Pradesh, Kanyakubja Brahmins are considered the highest class of Brahmins. They are a Dominant and landowning caste but they are not engaged directly in agricultural operations. They get it done through agricultural labourers.
Similarly in military section the editor is doing puffery by writing :
Kanyakubja Brahmins supplied excellent recruits in the old Bengal Army. There were only two regiments of Brahmins in Bengal Army which recruited exclusively from Kanyakubja Brahmins. It is from this tribe that most of the soldiers in two Brahmin regiments 1st Brahmans & 3rd Brahmans were drawn.
But when I check the regiment pages & cross verify the source its says nothing what the editor is wrote here see the source regarding this.
In notable persons below the editor unreliable sources which are not academically approved
Ramananda - see [1] academically approved sources
Bhagat Parmanand - see [2] academically approved sources
In below the editor used only one source link that is : this but when search the word Kanyakubja it shows no results.
1. Chandra Shekhar Azad
2. Bindeshwari Dubey
3. Dwarka Prasad Mishra
4. Nand Dulare Bajpai
Similarly the editor add the pic of Jayadev which must not be there due his birth controversy. Also the editor is trying to vandalize the wiki pages related different castes see below :
1. the editor made changes which are reverted
2. the editor added changes to this page like editor wants to use Wikipedia as a tool of promoting his caste
3. the editor tried to vandalize this article which was reverted by other user
4. this article also vandalize by the editor which was also reverted.
5. Again the editor vandalized the article and at last banned for editing caste articles.
So I suggest to please go through all the links I mentioned and also check the last version of Sitush is better see - Hemraj108 (talk) 16:14, 12 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
