Welcome! edit

Hello, Kalbhoj, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome.  Doug Weller talk 08:18, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Doug Weller Sir with respect, all the reliable sources call Chandrashekhar azad a Kanyakubja Brahmin. i cited to one of the leading print and writer contemporary to Him. He was from unnao which is homeland for kanyakubja brahmins. Kalbhoj (talk) 09:43, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
At the moment I can't comment on your other sources, but Booksclinic calls itself "Indias fastest growing self publishing house" and we don't use self-published sources. Doug Weller talk 12:16, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Doug Weller You can remove particular source with which you have problem but don't revert whole of my edit. Its not easy to find sources and add it into wikipedia. Kalbhoj (talk) 12:20, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Blogs rarely meet WP:RS. Are you saying poets are the best sources you can find? I’m not going to get more involved. Doug Weller talk 18:54, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Is this your first account? edit

Doug Weller talk 12:16, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Doug Weller No. I had another account too but lost its Password last year though i just started Wikipedia editing and still learning. Kalbhoj (talk) 12:19, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Once again, Booksclinic is not a reliable source as it is a self-publishing company. edit

Please stop using this. I have no time to check all your sources but as I've told you already about this I'm reverting you and will continue as it suggests that you don't understand our sourcing policy thus none of your sources can be automatically trusted. Doug Weller talk 17:03, 11 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Doug Weller I'm sorry about it. Didn't realised Booksclinic isn't reliable as were Wikipedia policies. I'll watch out next time. Kalbhoj (talk) 17:10, 11 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Notice of discretionary sanctions on caste articles edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
