Harrison

Those sites are wrong. He is not active.►Chris NelsonHolla! 21:49, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Verify it Sasha Callahan 21:50, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
You can verify it by the fact someone hasn't been released or placed on IR. As it stands, Harrison being active is impossible by NFL rules.►Chris NelsonHolla! 21:53, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
[1] Ksy92003(talk) 22:04, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Right, he couldnt be active, but he was granted an exemption. Sasha Callahan 22:06, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
I won't revert you because I think you're hot. But your edit is wrong, FYI.►Chris NelsonHolla! 22:11, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. Hopefully that becomes policy Sasha Callahan 22:13, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

I agree. Then Ksy92003 couldn't revert me.►Chris NelsonHolla! 22:15, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Well, unfortunately being attractive doesn't exempt you. Ksy92003(talk) 22:18, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

Hey, thanks for noticing my error at Template:DolphinsFirstPick. I didn't realize that I had accidentally removed "| fontcolor = white" from the article when I made the edit; I was trying to make it collapsable, and I had to do something to fix the code and I accidentally removed the font color.

I just tried to place that back in the article, but it didn't work, so I used a different method. The way I just now changed it to was a white link AND is now a collapsible template, which is what I wanted from the beginning. You can click here to see what I did. Ksy92003(talk) 03:08, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

No problem. Its what I do. Sasha Callahan 03:11, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi Sasha. Next time you see a page containing promotional content, simply mark it with the template db-spam by using {{subst:db-spam}} at the top of the page. Cheers. — Thomas H. Larsen 06:17, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I forgot that CSD G11 applies for all pages, not just articles. Sasha Callahan 06:20, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

User:Joshsiret

Hello, can I have a good reason for deleting the Pendragon Magazine article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joshsiret (talkcontribs) 20:59, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Its an unsourced article about a school magazine who's first issue came out today. To put it bluntly, it aint notable. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 21:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

It's not exactly a school magazine, it's a county-wide magazine that is being sold commerically, it's featured in the oxford mail too. If someone wants some information on the pendragon, who's to say they shouldn't come to wikipedia. When I have spoken to the editor, I shall add some more information shortly, but this is a start... it seems like your being over elitist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joshsiret (talkcontribs) 21:12, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Terawatts

Hi Sasha! I've indefinitely blocked the two accounts that were reposting the article, so I think we might be able to get by without protecting the page. If they create another account to repost the article, I'll salt it. Thanks, NawlinWiki 22:30, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

That makes sense. I'll try and keep an eye out for recreations of the page. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 22:38, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Fife, alabama AfD

Thank you for starting the AfD on Fife, alabama. While hoax articles are not inherently speedy-deletable, this one made an accusation of "inbreeding" in the intro. That seemed like enough of an attack at either Alabama or the two communities mentioned in the article elsewhere that I went ahead and deleted it under criterion G10, attack pages. —C.Fred (talk) 04:26, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

I guess I never considered that part. Out of curiosity, wasn't being a hoax a criteria for speedy deletion at one point? If not, it probably should be. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 04:29, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
I don't think hoaxes have ever been speedyable, or at least not in the last two years or so. WP:HOAX almost advocates erring on the side of caution about them. —C.Fred (talk) 04:43, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Actually, blatant hoaxes fall under G3 since they are considered vandalism. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 05:28, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Autograph book

Actually, some time ago, I saw some user who had one. I wanted to do it then, but for some reason I didn't. When I saw in your signature that it says "sign" obviously linking to your autograph book, that reminded me that I wanted to do it, and since it's a Saturday morning, I figured "what the hell, I don't have anything better to do with my time now." Of course after I did that, I left and went to play NHL 08 on PS3... let me guess: you like the Boston Bruins, who beat my Los Angeles Kings last night 86, huh?

Anyway, that's why I have it now. I wanted to before, but I didn't, and signing yours reminded me and influenced me to do it this morning. I'm actually curious to see how many people actually go there. Ksy92003(talk) 16:23, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

This is just a heads-up, but I think you guys should be prepared to have your autograph pages nominated for deletion at some point. The hardheaded rule-mongers will probably consider them a violation of WP:NOT#MYSPACE. I myself don't care that much what people do with their userspace, as long as it's not actually harmful to the community, but I appear to be in the minority on that one.
Equazcionargue/improves16:34, 10/13/2007
Sorry KSY, that was meant to be sarcastic. I only made mine since I had seen a few others before. And Equazcion, if they do get nominated for MFD, they'll be kept, considering sig shops were. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 16:46, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Oh, Sasha, I knew it was sarcastic. I'm sorry if my response gave you the impression that I thought you weren't... I guess that's rather easy to do over the internet.
As for the potential MfD, I don't see how they would be deleted. According to WP:SP, "Wikipedia is not a free host - using your user page (or subpages) for content unrelated to writing an encyclopedia is frowned upon, and content can and will be deleted if violations are egregious." I admit it isn't about Wikipedia, but actually, it really isn't about anything. It's not like a personal website. It's just a short little subpage that anybody can sign. It's just there to see who actually sees your page, which in my opinion, is a rather interesting bit. I don't think it's harming the community at all. But as for the possibility of an MfD, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Ksy92003(talk) 17:16, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
It's just like a personal web page. It's a guestbook -- that's something you typically find on personal web pages, blogs, and social networking sites like myspace and facebook. It might be even "worse" to use high-school yearbook terminology like "autograph page", which makes it sound even more juvenile (no offense intended), and is further evidence of it being a social-networking tool. Again though I'm not against it myself. I'm just pointing out that it is the kind of thing that WP:NOT#MYSPACE is meant to prohibit, and someone may call you out on it.
Equazcionargue/improves18:14, 10/13/2007
Thanks for pointing this out to us. I, and I assume Sasha as well, will pay close attention to anything of the sort. Ksy92003(talk) 18:48, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Yeah... wouldn't it be horrible if Wikipedia didn't let people share ideas with each other through communication, either with facts or cute little statements or well wishes left for others on their autograph page. Wow... lighten up you guys. Clark —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.247.55.12 (talk) 15:21, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
It's not me -- I'm all for it. Look, I'll even sign it myself :)

My editor review

I just want to let you know that, since you queried about this on my talk page earlier, that I answered the two questions for my editor review. Ksy92003(talk) 02:55, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Yankees10

For the record, the Yankees are already out of the playoffs, and the Jets will be very defeated this year. But I'm a little sad that Torre left, I liked him SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 02:01, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

good luck to your Sox even though I want them to lose--Yankees10 02:05, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Honestly, I'd rather lose to you guys than the Indians. The fuckin' indians, come on. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 02:07, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
I know--Yankees10 02:08, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Smile!

Keep your chin up...

Just stumbled on your thread at AnI. I know what it's like to get hounded by someone for simply doing your best to help the project. Budlight is behaving poorly, and you've done an admirable job not retaliating. K. Scott Bailey 05:32, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Once I've gone through the same thing. You've done a good job at not feeding the trolls. Ksy92003(talk) 05:37, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. I thinking finding other new pages to be deleted is a good way to deal with. Also, I should really that Coren, Ksy, and Alison for handling the whole situation. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 05:38, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
A lot of times, new or inexperienced users would get frustrated when other people think that their article should be deleted, and wrongfully retaliate by giving you a taste of your own medicine, so to speak. As long as you believe that this is their motive, it's easy to work your way around the trolls and not worry about what they do in retaliation. Ksy92003(talk) 05:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Speaking of which....[2]. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 05:44, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
A sock you think? Ksy92003(talk) 05:48, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
No, just a college student whose mad at me for nominating his page for speedy deletion. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 05:50, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

I've got just one thing to say about that: I can eat two footlong Subway subs in eight minutes also :) Can I make an article about myself (sarcasm)? Ksy92003(talk) 05:55, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

I've got one thing to say about that: Gross. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 05:57, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
I once ate a 18" Mr. Goodcents' sandwich in less than two minutes! Maybe we should start a new WP category for all the new articles that will be popping up for those of us with such great college accomplishments... K. Scott Bailey 05:58, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
I think I did 4 KFC chicken strips in two minutes once. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 06:02, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Perhaps your accomplishment would be enough to make you notable. We'd have to check with Mike on that one... K. Scott Bailey 06:04, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Alert Guinness! Ksy92003(talk) 06:06, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Actually, this may be a featured article by Mike's standards. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 06:08, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry - gone :) - Alison 06:10, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
I must have seen it before it was taken down. Perpoopstic, huh? Better you than me having to deal with this crap! I've got my hands full reworking a couple of articles I wrote and fighting vandals. I would hate to have to monitor the junk people think merits an article. K. Scott Bailey 06:12, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Kscottbailey, I'm not sure you noticed this, but I kinda find it funny that you referred to something with the syllable "poop" in it as "crap" :) I find that quite hilarious. Ksy92003(talk) 06:15, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
It would be really funny if there were an account called poopstick, and so people in AFDs or RFAs could vote "per poopstick". SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 06:17, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
I saw it right before I clicked save. Glad you enjoyed it. It's funny what's funny at 2:15 AM ... K. Scott Bailey 06:19, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey, it's only 11:20 PM here in Long Beach, but I've still got somewhat of a sense of humor. I'm very observant when it comes to stuff like that. Ksy92003(talk) 06:22, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

My secret page

Technically finding it through my contributions is cheating, but I won't tell if you won't :). No sense being strict about this type of thing, since it's just for fun anyway. Cheers, The Hybrid T/C 06:27, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Its only cheating if you think it is. Ask Bill Belichick. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 06:29, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Nice :D That one really made me laugh hard. Oh, thank you for that. Just like your friend, have a cookie. Cheers, The Hybrid T/C 06:31, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

'Ello There

Hi! Just thought I'd drop by and say hello! My my, you don't look 16, much older, maybe around my age, 20. Nice to see other people around here use their real names. Suppose I should probably put up a picture of myself... Tyler Warren (talk/contribs) 09:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Hello

Don't you wish that there was a {{db-untrue}}, just to really drive home the notion? Maybe that's just me getting bitter in my old age. Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry 05:43, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Yup. Perhaps I should propose it. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 05:45, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm sure it'll get deleted by someone with a {{db-unhelpful}} tag. Bah. Some ideas never get off the ground. I don't suppose you've seen Wikipedia:Service awards have you? "It's a wonderful way to boost your ego", he says unashamedly. It's not used by many people, so feel free to grab one or not - it's up to you. Just thought I'd let you know! Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry 05:52, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Drumlineramos RFA

Hey Sasha,

I was just about to write Drumlineramos a note suggesting he remove his RFA when I saw you'd removed it. Are you going to leave him a note? I don't care which of us does it, i just don't want to duplicate effort. --barneca (talk) 02:16, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, I left him one. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 02:24, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
OK, good night. --barneca (talk) 02:25, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Heh. Glad you left the note and not me. Looks like he re-added it already. Tag - your problem now!  :) --barneca (talk) 02:27, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Well I only removed the first since he used the wrong name when creating the page. The new one he added is fine. Someone else can take it off when it gets snowballed. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 02:29, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

PowerNap

I just wanted to ask why my article was rejected. I read what the description said, and I would just like you to know that there were four sources listed, of which three are third-party. --67.102.184.26 10:36, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

No you had two sources; the company's website and a picture. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 23:45, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Are you saying that articles from a major newspaper and a business magazine don't count as sources? --67.102.184.26 00:42, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
I missed those two. If you feel the article be created, I recommend you simply create an account and make the article yourself. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 00:53, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Also should be noted it was rejected the day before per no assertion of notability, which is also true. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 01:01, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, that makes sense. However, I had forgotten to add the link to the AOL.com source on my first try, and I would assume that it would boost notability. Correct me if I'm wrong.--67.102.184.26 01:06, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Sources are used to confirm notability, not assert it. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 01:08, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
OK, could you give a suggestion?--67.102.184.26 01:10, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
If the product had high sales or well-reviewed, you could mention that in the lead. But I'm not really an expert on writing. SashaCall (Sign!)/(Talk!) 01:16, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Alright, thanks! I just don't want it to be WP:SDed by A7.--67.102.184.26 01:20, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I decided to create an account for myself. Eventually, I'll have time to create the page. Thanks for all of your advice! --Superpika66 02:24, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Oversight

I've sent a request for oversight on the edit in question. Regards, Acroterion (talk) 20:05, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
