Cool down Seagal.Don't be angry and act like your famous namesake in movies. Why don't you go ahead and discuss these controversial edits before putting them in? You may have worked hard on the edits and I appreciate your efforts. However, they are POV and totally unsourced. You should have done them in little bit by little bit and discussed them at length. We are all reasonable people and will give you full good faith. Talk about this won't you?Hkelkar 05:00, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oh, and by the way, there is an active debate progressing on Indian Nationalism over several edits there. If you feel that there is a "Double Standard" at work here then please participate in that debate meaningfully.Hkelkar 05:06, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Very well edit

You have made a reasonable case for keeping the name "War" there so I will accede on that note.Hkelkar 05:23, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Status quo ante bellum is fine in both cases. I have made both changes.Hkelkar 05:39, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hkelkar,

Actually I think i tried making those changes to the kargil war page before namely from 'India regains kargil' to Status quo ante bellum but it was changed by bot or someone.

Status quo ante bellum is an official term, the 1965 indo-pak war should also have that as outcome.

Yes I agree. I will make the changes and watch the article(s). If somebody tries any monkey business there then they'll have to deal with me.Hkelkar 06:15, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for 12 hours edit

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

Anti-Pakistan edit

I encourage your NPOV actions and sourcing. However, the article Criticism of Hinduism is about the religion, not the Indian state, neither the Hindutvavaadis. Also know that many Indian Muslims (of which there are approx. 150 million) also bear Anti-Pakistani sentiment due to aggression in Kashmir and killing of Bengalis. Many Indian Muslims lost loved ones in wars between India and Pakistan. Nobleeagle [TALK] [C] 06:30, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

We should move the sourced information to the Hindu Nationalism page, Its more suited there. That aside I have started a new article Anti-Pakistani sentiment which I plan to expand considerably.

Anti Pakistan Sentiment edit

Hi S Seagal. I saw that you recreated the anti Pakistan sentiment article, which was deleted again. You might want to consider appealing at Wikipedia:Deletion_review. Here are some links that mention the term "anti Pakistan sentiment", [1], [2], [3], [4][5], [6], I dont know if these were in the article. Also Google Books shows the ter being mentioned in 32 books [7]. Noor Aalam (talk) 19:28, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Anti-Pakistani sentiment edit

An editor has nominated Anti-Pakistani sentiment, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anti-Pakistani sentiment (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:59, 17 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Anti-Muslim and Anti-Pakistan edits? edit

Hi there, Since you seem to have edited Pakistan-related topics, I wonder if you would look at edits of HotWinters (talk · contribs), who, in my view, has been making somewhat Anti-Muslim and Anti-Pakistani edits in various pages such as Mughal Empire and Template:History of South Asia. I could be wrong of course, so it would be good if someone else took a look at them. I did make a post at the Noticeboard for India related topics, but couldn't find any admin to look at it. License tagging for File:MuktijuddoPosters2a.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:MuktijuddoPosters2a.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:08, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:MuktijuddoPosters2a.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:MuktijuddoPosters2a.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 19:36, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
