People's Democratic Alliance moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, People's Democratic Alliance, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. December 2018

Hello, I'm Dhtwiki. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Indian National Congress, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You need to provide a source (is there one better than the Lok Sabha website itself?) that gives a new number of members for INC, not just tells of a member's sudden death, as you did in one edit summary. Dhtwiki (talk) 22:27, 8 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Karnataka Legislative Assembly

Hello; I have reverted your edits to Karnataka Legislative Assembly in view of considerations I have outlined on the talk page—the resignations have still not yet been accepted. That is why some MLAs have approached the Supreme Court.[1] Docentation (talk) 19:37, 10 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

April 2022

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into All India Trinamool Congress. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 14:35, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to List of members of the 17th Lok Sabha, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Hi Rashtra Nayak! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of List of members of the 17th Lok Sabha several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:List of members of the 17th Lok Sabha, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Dhruv edits (talk) 08:27, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at List of members of the 17th Lok Sabha, you may be blocked from editing. Dhruv edits (talk) 10:28, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of members of the 17th Lok Sabha. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Dhruv edits (talk) 10:29, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Edit Warring

edit

Stop you disruptive edits. It doesn't matter if your version on List of members of the 17th Lok Sabha has less bytes of data when the data is not properly readable. A lot of political parties have dark colors. Using these colours in background makes it impossible to read the names of the parties, both on desktop and mobile versions. Similar has been done at List of members of the 16th Lok Sabha and List of members of the 15th Lok Sabha as well. I would one again ask you to revert your last edit on this page and not engage in edit warring, failing which I will have to report you for edit warring which may result in block from wikipedia. Dhruv edits (talk) 10:32, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Rashtra Nayak This is your absolute last warning. You have been told why your changes are disruptive and you are still doing them again and again. If you revert the changes again without any discussion or consensus, you will be reported for edit warring and vandalism and your account would be blocked from wikipedia indefinitely. Hello. You recently updated the results table in this article. However, the figures you added were not supported by the source used (the ECP). Please do not add results that do not match the source.
