bot problem?
Hello Qwerfjkl, please check your settings for your bot, User:Qwerfjkl (bot). In Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Qwerfjkl (bot) 2 it is listed as exclusion compliant, however in this edit it appears to have ignored that: Special:PermaLink/1054543578. Hello Qwerfjkl, is the correct syntax {{bots|deny=Qwerfjkl (bot)}}, because it doesn't fend off the bot. {{bots|deny=Qwerfjkl}} hasn't been over-ridden yet but is that just good luck? --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 20:02, 11 November 2021 (UTC)

- That's something you would need to discuss with the developers of your framework. If it isn't working right you will need to stop using it until you can resolve it. May be used for treatment (GI decontamination) in most oral poisonings except those [...] for which its absorptive capacity is too low to be clinically useful (e.g., iron salts, lithium, boric acid, arsenic, malathion, or organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, or ethylene glycol).

That being said, I made that link years ago and it was certainly an inside joke that did not stand up to any scrutiny and was likely correctly admonished as a "blatant hoax", or at least "implausible" ;)....I suppose I am just as sad to see it go as I am glad that the powers at be do not allow such jiggery pokery to go on indefinitely.

Please refrain from relisting discussions for a third time (especially if no discussion has occurred after the second relist).   Hello and welcome to the December GOCE newsletter, a brief update of Guild activities since September 2021. Current and upcoming events
Election time: Our end-of-year election of coordinators opened for nominations on 1 December and will close on 15 December at 23:59 (UTC). Voting opens at 00:01 the following day and will continue until 31 December at 23:59, just before "Auld Lang Syne". Coordinators normally serve a six-month term and are elected on an approval basis. Self-nominations are welcome. If you've thought of helping out at the Guild, or know of another editor who would make a good coordinator, please consider standing for election or nominating them here. December Blitz: We have scheduled a week-long copy-editing blitz for 12 to 18 December. Sign up now! Drive and Blitz reports
September Drive: Almost 400,000 words of articles were copy edited for this event. Of the 27 people who signed up, 21 copyedited at least one article. Final results and awards are listed here. October Blitz: From 17 to 23 October, we copy edited articles tagged in May and June 2021 and requests. 8 participating editors completed 26 copy edits on the blitz. Final results, including barnstars awarded, are available here. November Drive: Over 350,000 words of articles were copy edited for this event. It is with great sadness that we report the death on 19 November of Twofingered Typist, who was active with the Guild almost daily for the past several years. His contributions long exceeded the thresholds for the Guild's highest awards, and he had a hand in innumerable good and featured article promotions as a willing collaborator. Twofingered Typist also served as a Guild coordinator from July 2019 to June 2021. He is sorely missed by the Wikipedia community. Progress report: As of 30 November, GOCE copyeditors have completed 619 requests in 2021 and there were 51 requests awaiting completion on the Requests page. The backlog stood at 946 articles tagged for copy-editing (see monthly progress graph above). Thank you all again for your participation; we wouldn't be able to achieve what we have without you! - At all Wikipedias, a Mentor Dashboard is now available at
Special:MentorDashboard. It allows registered mentors, who take care of newcomers' first steps, to monitor their assigned newcomers' activity. It is part of the Growth features. You can learn more about activating the mentor list on your wiki and about the mentor dashboard project. 
The predecessor to the current MediaWiki Action API (which was created in 2008), action=ajax, will be removed this week. Any scripts or bots using it will need to switch to the corresponding API module. [2]- An old ResourceLoader module,

That IP editor who keeps requesting redirects about etymologies is User:Mx. Clarks, an account that is globally blocked. I just saw on another user talk page that they admitted that they couldn't use their regular account so they edit as an IP which I guess is why they keep requesting that you create pages for them. - There are now default short aliases for the "Project:" namespace on most wikis. E.g. On Wikibooks wikis,
[[WB:]]will go to the local language default for the[[Project:]]namespace. This change is intended to help the smaller communities have easy access to this feature. Additional local aliases can still be requested via the usual process. [4]

Tagging empty categories
Hello, Qwerfjkl,
Another message! It looks like you are using your own script rather than Twinkle to tag empty categories. That's fine, whatever works is great but I don't think your script is leaving notifications on the talk page of the category creator every time you tag an empty one. This is just a reminder that this is important and maybe your script needs a bit of tweaking.
My failure to notify a category creator of the tagging of an empty category years ago caused the editor to open a complaint about me at ANI so it's become a best practice that I can be a little insistent on which is why I'm such a big fan of Twinkle and I post so many reminders about this. - Hi, Qwerfjkl, another potential improvement is to search for {{empty category}}. If you look at Special:History/Category:Skydance Television drafts, this category was tagged for C1 several times in a short period despite the addition of said template, and a removal of the speedy tag upon seeing the template notice.
