Jai's age

edit

Thanks, I will try. IMDB don't seem to check new DOB subs, only changed ones. I did try to change it a while ago, using a link to Jai's official site, but they said they don't accept official sites as proof for changed DOBs because so many celebrities lie about their ages. It's just ridiculous because Jai has been in the public eye (giving interviews) since he first landed the role in 'Rent,' and he was only 17 and in high school then. I doubt he was lying his age down as a teen, especially given he was playing older. Bu yeah, I'll dig out some of his teenage interviews and try submitting with those. Thanks. -- Queer Scout

Find his high school graduation year then.--Fallout boy 23:49, 3 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

If you're sure about him having been born in 1979, I'd suggest putting together some evidence and submitting it to imdb for consideration.--Fallout boy 14:51, 3 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to WikiProject LGBT studies!

edit

Hi, Queer Scout, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles of interest to the LGBT community. Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve LGBT-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.
  • If you're planning to stay, have a square in our quilt! You can put anything you want in it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome!

Holly Madison

edit

Hi. I hope you don't mind that I added the filmography chart to Holly's article. I figured it might look a little cleaner with the chart and deter people from adding random credits. Plus, I was really bored. Great job reverting all the unsourced garbage/vandalism too! I seriously thought I was going to have to get that thing protected. Thanks for watching it :) Pinkadelica Say it... 04:23, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Before the edit war is engaged any further, you may want to check out the talk page where the discussion of Stephen Walker's comments has been underway.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 12:46, 28 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

You're getting near to violating the 3-revert rule. I request that you please stick to discussing this on the talk page. As this is not in my opinion OR, as it is reliably sourced, it shouldn't be removed from the article outright because you think it is. You may very well do a request for comment for the article and seek outside opinion (which may be good to do anyway), and see if other neutral parties believe this statement is either OR or should just be removed.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 12:59, 28 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Check the history please. I see your name up there 3 times. I give the first time your "original edit". The next two aren't original edits, you're removing the same material again (that constitutes a revert). As for invading your page to leave rude messages, I thought I was being quite polite by asking nicely. I didn't snap at you. I didn't do anything but politely request that you go to the talk page because a discussion had already been started there. When you reverted a second time I just felt that I would warn you that you were getting close so that you didn't waste your last revert to the page on some petty content dispute. That was actually me looking out for you. But since you seem to be in this idea that I'm actually attacking you, I'll remember to keep my courtesies to myself (at least with you) in the future, should we cross paths again.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 13:29, 28 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Please read the history carefully. An IP (which I am not saying that it was you) removed the SW portion of the sentence. Then you removed the rest. I initially assumed that you were removing something that was not sourced. When I replaced the original statement, which had the context needed to show why the bit you removed was necessary, you returned and removed everything (your original bit, plus the stuff I restored that was already there). That was your first revert (it doesn't matter that you removed additional stuff, because you still removed the same information as before). You reverted again after Paul restored the comment, which was your second revert. I came to your page after your first official revert to inform you that there was a discussion. Subsequently, 5 minutes later you went to the talk page and left a comment, and then you went back to the article and reverted for a second time. That was why I came to your talk page again and alerted you to the fact that you were getting close to your third revert, and asked you to stay on the talk page. Yes, I did revert as well, which is somewhat hypocritical of me, but IMO it felt more like you were coming in and asserting your opinion as the supreme one (which I based on the fact that you left a comment and then immediately reverted the page). Possibly poor assumption on my part, but nevertheless, that was why I reverted you and asked you to stay on the talk page to hash this out completely. But, for some reason you're taking everything I do toward you as hostile (at least that is my impression), so I'll just leave you be completely then. Good day.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 13:48, 28 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
