Speedy deletion nomination of The Computer Game Show (TCGS) Podcast edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Computer Game Show (TCGS) Podcast requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Who is User talk:CaptainToss ‎ ? -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:32, 16 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure, but it could be another listener of the podcast who I told the article page was up. Philm1987 (talk) 16:38, 16 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Can a moderator tell me what to do to unblock my account? I haven't been making changes via multiple accounts and there has been no evidence to suggest I have been. Is there anyway I can prove it wasn't me on the different account? I'm not sure what advantage would be gained from doing so anyhow.
Except your coordination with CaptainToss off Wiki. I don't think it was you; it was someone working with you. I cannot see unblocking you to edit about The Computer Game Show (TCGS) Podcast. What else would you edit about? Please bear in mind that your only path to unblocking might be the WP:standard offer. As I declined already, I will not review further requests. You can make another request dealing with your coordinated editing on the Computer Game Show (TCGS) Podcast and what other subjects you would edit about. You might also read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID. Thanks.-- Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:57, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes. Please reveal any connection with that pod cast, if you have not done so already. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:58, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi. Yes it turns out captaintoss was one of the guys actually on the podcast. I wasn't coordinating with him in any way. I'd basically posted in a Discord channel that the page was up, he's taken a look and seen the notice that it was going to be taken down, then desperately added some information (which was correct information, but not sourced). I've told him that he shouldn't have been adding information himself. Apologies for any terms that were breached, there was no intention to do this from myself.
