Why were my edits removed?

My edits were removed on the page Lobotomy. I added a short section about the new meaning of lobotomy in internet culture, stemming from the game "Geometry Dash", but it was removed and marked as "vandalism". I was attempting to add important information to people who might be confused about the slang meaning of Lobotomy, not vandalise the page. How can facts be marked as vandalism?

Albert Einstein never did have a Tesco Clubcard. If you can verify otherwise, then I agree with your decision to remove from the Tesco Clubcard edit I made.

Equally, Napoleon Bonaparte never did own a Renault Espace.

TESTIMONIAL FROM A GROUP OF WOMEN JUST RELEASED FROM THE FIRST BIG ROUND OF ESSURE REMOVAL PROCEEDURES (HYSTERECTOMY), SAYING HOW MUCH BETTER THEY FELT RIGHT AWAY. THEY REPLIED TO QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS WITHIN MINUTES. THERE WERE SEVERAL VIDEOS POSTED OF A SUPPOSED "ROBOT ASSISTED SURGERY" WHICH DEPICTED A HUGE ROBOT ARM INSIDE A "WOMEN", SWINGING A BLOODY AX BACK AND FORTH, LITERALLY CHOPPING HER UTERUS TO SHREDS, WITH THE CAPTION "PROCEEDURE AVAILABLE FOR ESSURE REMOVAL AT THIS TIME". THERE WERE FREQUENCIES ON THIS PAGE, VALIDATING THE THREAT. Token (rapper)

someone has listed incorrect information in the first 2 or so paragraphs which i tried to fix such as him weighing 140 pounds in 4th grade (as per the sourced article) and not 240; as someone seemingly entered to make a joke about his childhood obesity. if you actually take time to review the sources you will see that he also started rapping at age 6 - not age 16: and was introduced to it by his sister, not justin bieber lol. it also says he was diagnosed with "autism" due to not understanding expressive language...that is also false - as in the sources he was diagnosed with a learning disorder i believe and possibly anxiety and depression; although i am not certain. all i know is the autism comment is untrue and was put in with malicious intent as i stated earlier.

in the second paragraph it starts off with saying he aspired to be a "pop-star" which is also false...he aspired to be a rapper - and became one. again; another instance of you not actually reading the citations. the writing poetry bit is true but he did not start writing "pop songs" at all he started writing "rap songs" at an age well before 17 (the listed one, which again is completely false, done in ill intent, and i believe the age is closer to 9-11 years old if you ACTUALLY READ THE ARTICLE).

to finish with the bs that someone has put here; it says at the end the main artists he listened to were "justin beiber", "vanilla ice" and "limp bizkit"...if you read the two articles following that - again - highly incorrect information you will find that he listened to "2pac", "eminem" and "ludacris" (previously listed in that order when the article was correct).

Goldy himself has also mentioned in later articles that he believes the goat is Lil Wayne, and also makes jokes about going "pop" just to troll his critics...i am not sure if that is the reasoning the edits were made, as maybe it was a fan like me who was just playing around with insides jokes HE SHARES that are not an attack on him as a human being at all...however i now realize i want the article to present the correct information as i respect him as a fan and more importantly has some ties to the dude.

after reading further into the section under his Career labelled "2012-2014: Career Beginnings" it states (again blatantly falsely) - His first song was a freestyle to "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus. It was actually stated in the article is:

So please. stop allowing this man to be slandered for no reason and when GOOD changes are made do not immediately reverse them just because i didn't cite a new source that IS ALREADY THERE FOR YOU TO READ IN THE ARTICLES COVERING HIS EARLY LIFE. it is an embarrassment to wiki as a whole that you continue to allow such false and demeaning information about a human being to be perpetuated online while apparently you are supposed to be the one taking down said false information; instead of being the almighty wiki hand of god that strikes down anyone that tries to help.

yes i goofed around at the start and said he made a song called "ILY HOP" and a couple other light hearted stuff that are all inside jokes with him...however i stopped immediately once i realized how butchered his page really is.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT ACCURATE INFORMATION I ADVISE YOU TO READ THROUGH THE ARTICLE YOURSELF AND MAKE THE NECESSARY CHANGES IF YOU WON'T LET ME DO IT MYSELF.

this is not an attack on you, i am simply frustrated as i was genuinely trying to fix things on the wiki after trolling once (which is my fault) in an attempt to put the correct information about Ben and stop the slander he is subject to - whether it be a fan or a hater doing it; Ben actually has a very intriguing early and even current life story (especially with his father passing away and using that as positive energy to carry with him on stage, as his dad was a musician like him. which is heartwarming to know how it inspires him everyday) and i believe it vital to pay homage to the hardships he's endured and the hard work he has put into molding his career throughout his entire lifetime.

Thank you for reading all of this and I hope the right changes finally get made; it seems you and I actually think more alike than I assumed at first. So I appreciate it and hope the rest of your day/night treats you well!

Regarding recent edit

Hi, I had a student reference Wikipedia in a collegiate science course. I added a small statement (which I screenshotted and then navigated back to remove) to demonstrate that even though there are individuals and filtering systems monitoring pages, anything can be added, we don't know what may beat the monitoring system, and we need to go to the original source. Wikipedia can be great as a concise guide that leads to original sources, but we want to cite those original sources rather than Wikipedia pages. Glad to see things were corrected rapidly!
