Thanks very much for you precious time and effort in reviewing our draft. We feel that there are some misunderstandings that require clarification and in-depth explanation about the novelty here, which should be mainly due to that some of our texts are not presented clearly enough.
Contact-electro-catalysis (CEC) is the use of triboelectricity in the field of mechanochemistry, and thus CEC is a branch of mechanochemistry. Force-induced increase of defects, extreme conditions, or other effects (such as piezoelectric effect) are three governing operating mechanisms for current mechanochemical processes. As a matter of fact, mechanical stimuli would inevitably result in frequent contact-separations and contact-electrification effect between friction pairs. A series study has suggested that the CE effect is dominated by electron transfer across the contact interface. In association with the close relationship between electron transfer and chemical reactions, contact-electro-catalysis (CEC) has been proposed as a bridging concept that connects CE with mechanochemistry. It refers to the use of CE-driven electron transfer under mechanical stimuli to promote chemical reactions.
We have systematically revised the draft based on your comments, supplementing necessary information and enhancing the readability. Pengfeichen403 (talk) 23:45, 26 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your recent article submission has been rejected and cannot be resubmitted. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Pygos was: This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: I suspect Conflict of interest in this article regarding the previously very biased history of this article, and the fact that this article's editor's username seems to overlap with a professor associated with this field. You may repeal this if you believe it's a mistake.
