Franch

edit

Hi. I have seen your recent edits to the Eva Franch i Gilabert article. Thank you for adding further sources - however, it would be helpful if you could expand some of those you have added so that they are more than bare URLs, and citations should also be added after punctuation. In editing the article, you also removed (without explanation) a paragraph regarding Franch's departure from the AA. I have reinstated this as it was reliably sourced and closes an important appointment in her career. For biographies of living people (WP:BLP), Wikipedia also favours a chronological approach (it is not a place to post résumés), presenting roles and achievements in date order, and requires that assertions are reliably sourced (two sections you created currently contain no references at all). I note parts of the newly added material also appear to be copied from Franch's Princeton University profile (link), and so may constitute a copyright violation (see WP:COPYVIO). Have a good day. Hi Paul W, thanks for your edits. I will add references to the sections that need them and modify the sources that have been left as bare URLs. Thank you for reinstating the AA material. I will take a look again at it. The initial deletion was because when the article was shorter, the AA para seemed to give an over emphasis on Franch's dismissal. Thanks again! Thanks for the quick response and explanation, Oikoumenikos2. IMO, if an article seems unbalanced, better to add further reliably sourced material, not to delete what's already reliably sourced. PS: you can sign off user page additions by using 4 tilde (~) symbols. Happy editing! Paul W (talk) 16:20, 29 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
