editThanks for uploading File:SUNDOWNS-LADIES-DOCUMENTARY-780x470-1.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

editYour account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, as you did at Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies F.C.. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
- I am not paid by Mamelodi Sundowns to make these edits. My plan is to add all teams in the SAFA Women's league to wikipedia as I have done with TS Galaxy Queens as well as adding pages for the players and coaches. Why am I being banned? Nomzamo28 (talk) 21:29, 24 November 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am not paid by Mamelodi Sundowns to make these edits nor am I affiliated with the club. My plan is to add all teams in the SAFA Women's league to wikipedia as I have done with TS Galaxy Queens as well as adding pages for the players and coaches.
Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@Bbb23: Hi there, as stated above. I do not work for Mamelodi Sundowns nor do I receive any form of payments for the edits I made to their page. I understand Wiki does not allow employees or any person related to the subject to edit their pages. Can you unblock my page?
Well, this is crappy. I'm inclined to believe that you don't have a conflict of interest, and if you were a paid editor you shouldn't have been paid very much--but then I discover that you got impatient and created User:Mcwamcwa. This might not have happened if you had done your pinging and coding correctly--you didn't sign after you pinged Bbb23. But that's kind of moot now: we do not appreciate editors who create accounts in order to get around playing by the rules. Drmies (talk) 23:28, 6 January 2024 (UTC)

editNote that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
Maxim, I just responded via email, but thought that I'd commented here; instead it was on Bbb23's user page--Bbb, I should ping you here of course. I read the unblock request that you included and it's not bad. The user cops to the socking, which is the most important thing for me (perhaps not for Bbb--the editor again repeated they have no COI, and I'm more inclined than you were then to accept that), and commits to sticking to the guidelines. Nomzamo, one of our best practices is responding to editors' concerns, and that is one of the things that I did not see you do earlier; what I'd like to hear is (obviously) that you'll stick to one account, and that you will be responsive to those concerns--on your own user talk page and elsewhere. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 17:08, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Drmies I had hoped to stick to the second account if my appeal is granted. Nomzamo28 (talk) 20:35, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
