Law clerks edit

I saw you removed Ben Aguiñaga from the US Supreme Court law clerks page. Any reason?Bjhillis (talk) 03:52, 8 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

He was already listed so I deleted the duplicate. Thanks

Disambiguation link notification for May 8 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Timothy Goeglein, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Assistant and Deputy Director (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:19, 8 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

May 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Yamla. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Kristen Wiig, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 15:28, 8 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I have seen a number of sources that state the same thing.. that she attended Roanoke College before transferring to the University of Arizona. Here is another url:http://www.mandatory.com/girl/kristen-wiig What qualifies, in your mind, as a reliable source? Thanks.

This is explained in WP:RS. --Yamla (talk) 15:57, 8 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Text size in infoboxes edit

Please do not use {{small}} in infoboxes, as you did with this edit. MOS:ACCESS#Text and MOS:FONTSIZE say that we should "avoid using smaller font sizes in elements that already use a smaller font size, such as infoboxes, navboxes and reference sections." This way, we make articles more accessible for those with disabilities. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:19, 17 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'm asking again, please stop adding {{small}} to infoboxes. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:46, 1 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Gina Haspel. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. {{u|zchrykng}} {T|C} 18:14, 23 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

June 2018 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Robert Todd Lytle, you may be blocked from editing. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:20, 18 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

This was not disruptive editing... the image section is reserved for a portrait.. not the seal of the US House of Representatives... it makes no sense to have it there.

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Corky 18:34, 25 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'll comment again how helpful edit summaries are. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:21, 9 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

July 2018 edit

Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Los Angeles Lakers appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. There's generally no contract signed until the July moratorium ends on Friday. Unspecified source/license for File:Hampton University Seal.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Hampton University Seal.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

A page you started (Highland Presbyterian Church (Kentucky)) has been reviewed! edit

Thanks for creating Highland Presbyterian Church (Kentucky).

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The article needs citations to reliable independent sources that provide significant coverage of the subject. Normally an article with sourcing this paltry should be nominated for deletion, but due to the church's long history there is almost certainly some coverage in offline sources.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

June 2019 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Centerville, Ohio, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 23:46, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Centerville, Ohio. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Adding a source that he attended high school in the community does not verify his residency in it. School district boundaries are seldom contiguous with municipal boundaries. Avoiding Ballotpedia as a Source edit

Came across this 2018 edit using Ballotpedia as a source for US Representative Garret Graves' educational history. As noted at Wikipedia:Ballotpedia, there is mixed consensus on this site's reliability. Regardless, because the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress already lists such info, I would advise using this official source instead (if you have not already switched in the past five years). In this case, I already made the fix! BluePenguin18 🐧 ( 💬 ) 04:12, 23 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
