Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Lyte as a Rock has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Recent edit reversion edit

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.S Philbrick(Talk) 11:30, 18 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lyte as a Rock, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Public Enemy. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of 10% Dis edit

Hello Nohayunolibre,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 10% Dis for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the album, song or discography is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article of their own.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Correct usage of {{certification Table Bottom}} edit

Hi Nohayunolibre. I noticed you are adding certification tables, like you did here. I ask that you pay more attention to the correct usage of the table, and especially the use of {{certification Table Bottom}}, as I did here. As you see, using {{certification Table Entry}} creates a footnote, which needs to be explained below, which is what the bottom template is for. Also note that |salesamount= should not be added without a source, and is in this case redundant, since the template creates it. If you need any help with that I'll be happy to assist. As always, your contribution is greatly appreciated. --Muhandes (talk) 11:20, 23 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Legend edit

I'll just point out that this still doesn't say anything more than "the album was released", in a very long-winded way. Are there any sources that actually show the album is notable and passes WP:NALBUM? MC Lyte talking about her own album doesn't demonstrate any notability. Richard3120 (talk) 18:45, 1 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello nice to meet you and excuse me if I'm wasting your time
I found reviews from The Michigan Chronicle and The Source but didn't have time to add them properly
I assumed that they are more than the ones that have other albums with articles in Wikipedia Nohayunolibre (talk) 18:55, 1 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
No, I don't think you're wasting my time... I just mean that even though Rhe Source and HipHopDX and Complex are definitely reliable sources, that doesn't mean that the album is automatically notable just because it's mentioned in a reliable source. For example, the first citation from The Source is an interview with MC Lyte (so it's not independent) and they never discuss the album anyway. And the second citation from th magazine is an announcement about the lead single, which only says a new album is on the way. So both of them are pretty useless as sources. And that's the problem, everything is either an announcement of the album's release, or an interview with the artist, and neither of those things make an album notable. If you have found some reviews that would be great... I'll wait and see what you can add to the article. Richard3120 (talk) 20:57, 1 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Associated acts must be very closely connected edit

At Kid 'n Play, you restored the list of associated acts that I removed. The removal fits the instructions at Template:Infobox musical artist#associated_acts which sets a high bar to inclusion. Each listed act must have collaborated multiple times on music, and ideally they would be mentioned together frequently in the media.

It is not enough to have associations outside of music, or to have just one or two songs of collaboration. Binksternet (talk) 15:06, 25 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Last Night.jpeg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Last Night.jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Queen Latifah discography again edit

I take back my compliment above. I don't know what you have been attempting to achieve on this discography but it's not an improvement. It really is becoming apparent you have little to no idea what you're doing, or if you do, it's lost on anybody else because you aren't explaining yourself in edit summaries. You repeated an entire chunk of Latifah's singles as a lead artist in the featured artist section. How did this happen? You appear to repeatedly copy citations from other artists' articles you have edited, like MC Lyte and Monie Love, and copy them into other discographies (in this case, Latifah's) with little to no changes to the URLs or citation titles. You need to take far more care and start leaving edit summaries otherwise I, or other editors, will start to revert you more when questionable changes like this appear. I'll be paying closer attention to Latifah's discography from now on, and other contributions you make. Stop repeating tables, start explaining yourself. Competence is required on Wikipedia. Thank you. Ss112 05:17, 11 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Idol Makers moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Idol Makers, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Juice Crew into Draft:Idol Makers. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 19:20, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

WP:CIR concerns edit

I asked you last year to make sure what you were copying applies to what you're copying it to. You've copied multiple of the same footnote without changing the song name or the peak on MC Lyte discography, LL Cool J's discography and I don't know how many others. Change what the footnote says for the song it applies to. And please stop putting more than 10 columns in discography tables per WP:DISCOGSTYLE. Also, RIAA should not link to Billboard Hot 100. The RIAA has nothing to do with Billboard. WP:CIR on Wikipedia and if this messing with discography articles continues I'm reporting you to an administrator. This haphazard editing cannot continue, so be attentive to what you're editing and slow down. Consider this a final warning before an admin is informed. Thank you. Sockpuppetry edit

@Sergecross73: Hi Serge, I've asked Nohayunolibre to be careful of what they're doing, but I've just discovered that they're editing logged out to make contentious edits that I've previously reverted. On Queen Latifah discography last year, an IP editor made this edit. I reverted it several months later here for being unexplained. Nohayunolibre then made the same removal later the same month.

Compare that to their years-long history of editing MC Lyte discography. One edit logged in [1], the next logged out [2], logged in again [3], out again [4]. They edit in tandem with themselves or make it look like they're different people when removing information they want removed. I don't know what this editor's up to, with their obsessive behaviour and incompetence in copying the same footnotes for multiple different songs and citations from MC Lyte to other R&B/hip hop artists' discographies, but it's definite sockpuppetry on the same range and WP:CIR issues. Ss112 05:52, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Nohayunolibre, Wikipedia is a collaborative website. You need to discuss and talk with others when issues arise, and be able to work others. Additionally, you cannot be editing while logged out like this. Please change thus, or you may end up getting your account blocked. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 13:40, 10 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Sergecross73: Hi Serge, Nohayunolibre still isn't discussing and is continuing to make unexplained removals here (5 days after my message earlier this year) and a few days ago here. These unexplained, disruptive issues and their general incompetence (repeatedly copying citations for one artist to another's discography, copying footnotes for one song to other songs without changing any of the words in the footnotes) has been going on for years now. Every discography this user edits needs a round of cleanup after their editing sprees. I think WP:CIR applies here. Ss112 10:04, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
